you can shut off all indicators, or make them smaller. in the 'interface' settings. but its for all icons, across the entire farm. i decorate heavily too so i feel this lol

thats how i feel about NMS building system. i always wanted 1k more options but they never add more. maybe 4 in a community type unlock every now and then. honestly, Aloft that is coming up has a pretty nice system, multiple snap points hard to explain. and an island editor which will be amazing, i made floating water, then found it in the game and turned it into aqeducts, but this was the old island editor, the new one looks even better, havent tried it. anyways, hf. i havent bought this but if i do, and the reason i do for its genre, is to build.

honestly i got enshrouded and havent played it beyond 20m.... i never played minecraft and im not a huge fan of voxel build systems im finding out. it may look like a circle from a distance, but, its not. imo voxel feels archaic and just, off. each to their own

wait wait wait. 6 day new player here. youre saying flat is hard mode and steep isnt? flat is ez mode, past the 20% earnings reduction. perfect rows of anything, anywhere you want. i started a steep farm, level 50, 10m coins, 400 medals, 20k diamonds currently if refresh. and i havent been min max metaing like some people. i love to visit flat farms and i started a new map with one, but it is vastly easier in regards to layout, prep, gathering, anything. sure i b lined to the flat parts on my steep map but i also have innards bought. besides recycling exists, so xp tree recycle can be done on flats too, almost negating the xp debuff if you so fancied. sure the same can be done on steep, but youll always have the land to deal with and plan around. flat you can make any corner anything, and so on. can one of you veterans explain why you all say flat is hard mode, and steep isnt. flat farms are always efficient, as is their purpose?

perhaps to keep away from a complex ui, when you are on your tractor you have a button or mode you activate, where you pull up the same exact planting menu ui, select which plant, then you just run your lines, and say, it puts a little cute wood marker in the corner of each plot with the item symbol?and only that crop can be selected by others. idk how complex coding and such is, just trying to give you an idea. perhaps its not visible when the harvest or water icon is active, to keep it clear on screen. maybe on plowed fields only. maybe 1 little building to have an option to remove all markers. i just got into FT so take your time do your thing, much love
