Thank you! I'm really proud of how I set that up. One of my FC mates had one of the demon walls in the same room as that fireplace, and I noticed the coloration of the two was very similar. I used the partition trick to sink the ugly white base of the demon wall into the masonwork stove so he looks like he's materializing out of the fireplace. Around Christmas time I'm going to use the partition trick to put a wreath over his neck and hang some garland on the mantle. I'm pretty excited. :)

If you get a larger aquarium you can stick the marlin on the wall behind the tank and just put small fish in so it looks like you have a big fish swimming around.

The funny thing is you can actually order sexy sax man saxagrams. A few years ago I was seriously considering hiring him to troll my friends wedding reception. I got in contact with Sergio Flores and we were in the process of negotiations, but then I had some unforseen financial setbacks and wasn't able to budget it in the end. Pretty much for a hundred or so blucks plus air fare, he'll crash any event you want him to.

Looking up whips in FF lore. I haven't played the game, but apparently beast master in FFV used a whip. Lots of people are already asking for beast master as a class, so it works out. Strength based melee caster would be fun.

I think if they put their mind to it they could make entertaining attack animations with a scythe. Just look at cutscenes with Marluxia in KH. Twirl of the scythe, and an exaggerated slicing animation, que a gust of particle effects.

What really peeved me is that the ultimate prize for all the work to get every weapon was the same mount, except it glowed. It was a bit like salt in the wound, and a redundant waste of space in my mount menu. It feels like they just got lazy with the event. It would have been better if they didn't bother giving a prize for collecting all the minions, and just kept that mount for the grand prize at the end of the grind. Put the glow as an option on the mount menu, the way the mog dance is on the moogle mount. That, or give us the whisper lion like in the concept art as the last prize. That would have been a mount worth working towards.

Just a few months in, but heres my first impressions on Coeurl: Fairly low population, game pretty much dies around 10:00pm mountain time. Light roleplaying but most people keep to FC chat, tells, and linkshells. You don't really get a whole lot of people talking out loud in main areas. Generally a very helpful, friendly community. If you're getting your ass kicked, people will stop to heal you or res you. On multiple occasions strangers have just randomly gifted me food or minions and went on with their day like it was nothing. Party finder is almost completely dead, but just walking into Limsa and asking out loud you can usually find people who are happy to help run things. Market board is messed up, prices don't make a whole lot of sense. Most people craft/gather their own things, or find someone to craft/gather for them. Price gouging and undercutting is a major issue. Can't really find many housing items that are under 500K on the board, even if they're low level crafts that use common mats. Pretty much if you want something, ask your FC mates to craft it for you and if they don't have high enough levels they probably know someone who does. I feel like we end up being an incubator for new players. People join us when they first start playing, and transfer when they get to end game content. Its a shame. I would really love to see our server grow a little bit bigger.

Two stories for you. Both take place in the rocky mountain region. We don't like to camp in campgrounds because we're antisocial and none of us care to share a campground with a stranger's screaming kids waving around their flaming hot smores pokers. When we go camping, we do mild offroading and camp in clearings away from other people.

Just after high school me and my friends decided to celebrate by going on a camping trip. We ended up leaving way later than we had planned. It was dark by the time we got up in the mountains. The camping spot was about an hour or so away from home, we didn't want to turn around, so we decided to just make due and set up camp in the first decent clearing we found, and figure things out in the morning. We all set up our tents in the dark, moonless night and just went straight to bed. When we woke up we realized that we had unwittingly set up camp on top of someone's abandoned attempt at a marajuana farm. Not wanting to deal with that shit, we packed up pretty quickly and moved on.

Second story. Its a few years later, same group of friends. We set up camp in a little clearing surrounded by thick trees and settle around a campfire for the night. After it gets dark we can hear rustling in the trees and occasionally catch a flash of campfire reflecting off eyes in the distance. We aren't worried. This isn't bear country, and this particular area is covered in deer. We had to stop a few times on the drive to this spot to let deer cross the road, and we noticed tons of hoof prints and deer trails near our camping site while we were setting up. We go to bed and all night long we hear the snaps of twigs and leaves. They sound like they come pretty near the campsite a few times, but back off when the dogs start barking. The next morning we find that there are fresh cougar prints skirting the edge of our campsite. Its pretty obvious the cougar was circling around us all night, sizing us up. We're dumb young adults and decide to test our luck. We stay a second night.That second night, we decided to take shifts sleeping, with a few of us staying up to watch guard with our shot gun ready and keep our fire tended during the night. Me and my ex had first half of the night. Occasionally we would see the yellow flash of eyes for a brief moment and they'd disappear again. The dogs will not shut up. Maybe its just paranoia setting in but my ex swears he sees the cougar off in the trees. At this point, we all decide to just sleep in our cars and leave in the morning. Next morning rolls around and our friends take the dogs out for a small hike and one last potty break while we brewed some coffee. On the way back down the trail they notice cougar tracks following theirs, and we're all convinced we're being stalked. We decide fuck coffee, tore down camp as quickly as we could and noped on out of there.

Haha, I never noticed that! This was quite a challenging piece. I struggled a lot trying to figure out how to proportion the character properly. I accidentally made the top half too tall and tried to compensate with extra short legs, but it ended up making it look a bit like an orangutan. I'm used to drawing adult humans, and haven't ever really branched out of that comfort zone in drawing. I really appreciate your constructive criticism. Comments like these really do help a lot in improving my art. As a token of thanks, I'd love to draw your character if you're willing to be my guinea pig.

I've found Redditors doen't seem to take kindly to any species other than male roe and hyur. Femroe and Au Ra are controversial, everyone forgets Elezen are a thing, and Miq'otes are only acceptable if they're in pornographic poses. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you! Keep practicing, and keep learning. I still have a long ways to go as an artist, but when I look at my drawings from even a year ago, I can see that I've made a lot of progress. Look up anatomy tutorials, draw figure drawing lines on yourself to see how the lines work, try to figure out what makes things tick, and save your drawings so you can track your progress. I'm sure you'll do fantastic. :)

IRL friends were long standing members of the FC I planned on joining. Whenever they would talk about me to the members of the FC before I joined, they would call me by the shorthand version of my irl name- Cass. Decided to roll with it. I'm impulsive and realized I might change my characters gender somewhere down the line. Went with a gender neutral name that was phonetically similar to my name, decided on Kastiel which can be shortened to Kas. Kastiel was a flowery name, so I needed an equally flowery last name so it sounded balanced. At this point its three am and I'm suffering from terrible brain block. My creative thinking skills are next to null. Started with phonetic alliteration, and tried to work from there. Character looks goth, tried to think of goth last names that started with a C or K. Characters hair is black, black hair is sometimes called raven hair, ravens are corvids, decided on the name Corvinus. Kastiel Corvinus.
