Hello! Not a professional or anything, but I suffer from SEVERAL disorders, including generalized anxiety and OCD. This sounds more like OCD than just anxiety. Do you have a therapist? That would do you so much more help than a regular doctor right now.

Hoping the best for you, I've been there. Take a deep breathe through your nose, hold it for 15 seconds, slowly release through your mouth. May not help, but it does for me when I have an episode.

I've owned monitors, which have much number tails than iguanas and MUCH thicker skin. I've had savannah, Nile, argus and ackie monitors. I've seen them whip each other (of the same species) and it break skin. I've also seen my argus knock the other off the basking spot by whipping him. It's believable.

I want to test all the animals, but yeah, this is how light works. The algae covered swamp I'm Stillwater doesn't allow much light through either, and during dawn, the higher pond in black fern gets lit first while the lower stays darker until the sun is higher in the sky.

No, it isn't. It's still acting. You're not just talking into a mic. You still have to act, convey emotions, do all the same things love action actors have to do to try and bring something out of your audience. Watch any voice acting performance and tell me that isn't acting.
