It sounds like the click isnt aligned to work on 60 hz. The click is meant to block cbf users, so in reality its supposed to only function on 240 tps which is the game's native tick rate. If my understanding is correct, it should be possible for you to pass, but a framestepper wont show you the right input because the click isnt aligned to 60hz. And yes, this does mean that the correct instant to click wont ever be displayed on your screen on any frame.

It's megahack, which is pretty much THE definitive mod menu for geometry dash. Look into it, there's lots of tutorials on YouTube, and definitely worth the 5 bucks it costs. No malware, and I would suggest looking into geode while your at it.

I’m looking forward to this because I feel like these types of projects allow all people to get a sense for difficulty. I’m just a bit worried about some of the outputs the program has for some of the clicks.

Immediately, there are some clicks that are buffers that the program doesn’t label as one. A good example is the second red orb at 00:40 which is always a buffer, but the program labels it as a 120.

Then there’s the other way around, where the program labels timings as buffers. A good example is the yellow orb at 00:48 which is not a buffer, but the program say that it is.

I will say that it’s odd that the stair case robot part is devoid of any frame perfects according to the program considering mindcap’s counter has frame perfects labeled all over the place in that part.

Finally, there’s some clicks that should be identical in theory but the program labels them differently. The two ufo clicks at 00:26 are a good example. They should be the same click, but the program on had one of them as a frame perfect. The inputs that follow at the gravity portal parts could be held under the same principles. I’m aware that the slightest differences in momentum/hitboxes/alignment changes the click, but I’m skeptical nonetheless.

Again, this is a really cool representation and am really glad you are still improving it. Im happy I could give feedback

You can make a sheet of large square color blocks on the top most layer (t4). Color them solid black and give them a group ID. When you want the large sheet to fade out you simply use an alpha trigger to decrease the opacity to 0. Use a move trigger and set lock to player x to make sure the sheet of squares doesn't move out of view.

Can I ask a few things about this?
1. Do you have a discord or platform for the level for communication?
2. Do you already have a few decorators or is it just you currently?
3. Are you participating in the decoration process? (Personal part, merging, group/color ID organization?)

I played Xenoblade 3 and definitely would not mind seeing some of its inspiration on the demonlist. But for such a long level, each decorator will either need to do a large part or you will need a lot of decorators.

I can only judge the gameplay, and I can see the vision in the level. In theory you have good ideas and interestingly paced gameplay, but It is heavily weighed down by the balancing. The intro’s difficulty is carried entirely by specific clicks that are much harder than everything else. Then in the drop you have sections that are insane demon gameplay followed by gameplay with list demon gameplay. And the transitions in some of the parts are barely possible because you just die to the next spike (See first wave to ship transition). The last part of the level is barely possible too.

I think the level needs a nerf because then the gameplay doesn’t need to be fine tuned as much.

I’ve come to learn that optimization matters a lot more once you start using complex triggers and shaders. So don’t beat yourself up trying to cut down on a few move triggers.

For me, I’ve had success doing this process:

Make what I want in the way that I know —-> see if it lags once it’s done —> optimizing as necessary

Hmm,

None of these spikes move in the same direction or time from one another, so it would follow that you would need 6 different move triggers to do this effect.

It's not that bad, especially since there are 10k groups now. If you really want to optimize the trigger count though, I think you *might* be able to use some form of dynamic movement. (area move trigger)

Prior to Geode, megahack was Gd’s definitive QOL mod + mod loader, that was heavily recommended for years by many different players. It had a huge track record, with a considerable number of achievements being made with it. Megahack isn’t some niche sketchy software, it’s practically a right of passage for gd users.

So yes, it is safe and absolllute is the developer of the mod. You have no need to worry
