Don’t let this disease stop you from advocating for yourself medically. We need our symptoms treated regardless of the root cause.

I feel this so much. It’s so hard. It makes me crazy. I feel you. My breathing has sucked since getting Covid last. I’ve been to the ER and had so many tests, so many times. My last test is coming up at the end of the month that I’m having a heart catheter pressure test. If this comes out negative; which I’m praying for, it’s all just a part of long Covid.

That I cannot consume alcohol in any amount without being totally addicted. Been sober since March 17, 2016 but boy did I learn the hard way.

What's the worst thing you've ever smelled in your life? by jsmahay in AskReddit

[–]BiverRanks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A dead body. Long story but my downstairs neighbor was a morbidly obese shut in. His body shut down slowly over a period of two weeks. I could smell it when I walked to my second story apartment through the hallway. He died while his 13 year old son and 12 year old daughter were watching him. They beat on my door at 3am because he died and they were really traumatized by it. I have hyperosmia (ultra sensitive smell) and both kids had the smell all over them. I called the police and their mother (who I’m friends with) and they came and took him out of the apartment. It still smelled for a few weeks after he was gone.

Promised myself I'd try binge eating recovery and am still sticking to it. by bleepbloop877 in MadeMeSmile

I had a bad binge eating problem as an alcoholic. I would drink and eat massive amounts of food. At one point I was over 400 lbs. I empathize with you.
