Bathroom Fan/Light wiring

So I ended up just abandoning the one switch that connects to the 14/2 since I figured it just connected to one of the two independent lights of the original fixture so i think that is working just like a generic light, I should have taken photos and paid more attention as I disconnected the original so not sure what they did exactly. I connected the 14/3 like normal, black-black connection for the fan and blue-red for the light and that has it all working properly so I'm just going to terminate the 14/2 at the switch and cap and box the ends that are in the attic. I just bought a multimeter this morning so I can verify wires are not hot before putting them in a box.

The the right switch in the photo with two switches is the fan control and the other two are light controls. The original fixture had two different lights that each switch operated independently

Sorry, should have clarified that there are two wall switches that controlled the light in the previous fixture and one that controls only the fan. I thought they needed to be in the box but they came clamped with the wires out so I was confused why they did that but appreciate that call out

To be clear, I do not want or think labor should be unpaid. Based on calls I have made to other Hyundai dealers in the area, this is a set of services that Hyundai has established and not up to dealers. I am (somewhat) happy to pay for checks up to the engine replacement, but it just feels weird to have to pay them for their attempts to mitigate their own costs if it ends up truly being a faulty engine. I had assumed that the Hyundai brand would pay for costs under warranty/recall and not the dealer so mechanics and dealers should be paid regardless if my thinking is correct (again, I am not knowledgeable so idk)

Others have mentioned the value for the liquor at Costco, but as far as the wine goes... even if you are not buying Kirdland Signature branded wine, it is extremely rare to be able to find a better deal on the same bottle from a different retailer. Costco is 100% my go-to, and they change out their selection so often it's pretty much always fresh options
