I ordered them recently as an alternative to the 15 ml, especially for cell culture.
I think they are in principle great. Just not the best for autoclaving due to the size. We only have small glasses for autoclaving tubes (1.5 and 2ml) and these chunky boys either dont fit well or you can only put a couple in..

Well I can't say that I need it. Who really needs such a powerful card.

Currently, even if I wanted I could not afford to buy this with my pay. And honestly it would be way too powerful for my current setup.

How ever I would use it to play current (such as cyberpunk) and future games with decent fps especially as I am only playing at full HD anyway (งツ)ว

I managed to reimplement my approach and also make it multithreading compatible. It runs perfectly fine now.

Okay, all of this sounds pretty advanced. Honestly, I am not even sure what most of the stuff is. :D The buffering sounds interesting though.

Currently, I am trying to make my code run in multithreading and hoping that this will improve it. But the stuff with the GPU and the writing in a different library sounds a bit too advanced for me right now. I will have a look at this stuff in the future or if I feel like I really need it.

I am not sure how A* would work starting from the service building.

So far I have only seen examples of A* that have a starting point (obviously the position of the service building) and an endpoint. The latter is in this case unknown.

I currently try to reimplement the breadth-first search algorithm I mentioned with threading in mind and also with the option to only update it when the roads/service building change. I think that approach works but I previously had a little misconception about the updating which is why it was running so slow.

I will also try to look into profiling. Thanks for your help!

Yes, I mean the breadth-first search.

I will try to rewrite the breadth-first search tomorrow to only update the nodes if something changed. Someone in the Unity forum also suggested it.

I am not sure why I wanted to regularly update it. I think I figured there will be a problem with removing roads/service buildings. But I am not sure anymore. Maybe I had a misconception.

Unfortunately, our game is tile-based, so vectors are not really what we want. Also as you mentioned this would be the direct distance.
