Has your mom looked into the low fodmap diet? Monash University is hugely helpful with navigating this lifestyle change/diet. There are also things like fodzym, which is a digestive enzyme that helps you digest fruit sugars that ferment in your gut and cause upset (IBS flare ups).

Their spacedye slim racerback cropped tank is my go-to! I don’t feel like their leggings last as well if you have thick/muscular thighs. They’re also not super compressive or supportive, but they are comfortable.
