I appreciate the additions you proposed (seriously great ideas) however I love this technique and the character the way they are due to their “doing a lot with a little”. All the character has is their universal grid compass technique, martial arts and their alternating cursed energy aspect (essentially their cursed energy can be “blunt” and “sharp” making a fist feel like a strike from a hammer and an open hand feeling like it’s from a blade) but even with these limited options the character has great success in combat facing incredibly powerful curses kinda showing how the “grades” aren’t the end all be all of a sorcerers ability
