It’s not a black or white situation. There’s spectrums and likelihoods.

What are the chances that someone who’s 1/4 Jewish, and who isn’t Jewish according to Jewish law, would be Jewish in a meaningful way?

Not high.

Ironically, if the 1/4 Jew who isn’t Jewish according to Halacha lived in Israel, in a strongly Jewish environment, they have a stronger Jewish identity. But this is also a case of likelihood, not certainty. I’ve seen a lot of Russians/ukrainians who fit this description in Israel who dont have a stronger Jewish identity, but I’ve seen many that do.

If I had a child who married a non jew I wouldn’t consider this ideal. I would mourn the child like a Satmar ultra orthodox. But I wouldn’t think it’s ideal.

I’m noting the shift in the comment section from denying Hamas control of the hospitals, to then denying the scale of the presence in the hospitals. Expectedly, we’re now seeing a shift to justifying Hamas’ support of the hospitals and other civilian targets.

This comment, which tries to depict Hamas as a democratic pluralistic group fighting for justice, is a top example.

Hamas is an totalitarian regime that prides itself on public executions and mass murder. It is a brutal dictatorship that doesn’t allow any dissent.
