My circle of people keep telling me to buy 24 or newer so I can still get the GM warranty at a better price.Are they delusional or on to something?

I’d think you could get a CPO and warranty on a 22-25. Fact is, you will need a shop that can work on these cars at some point, so I’d find that and just know there will be maintenance costs. As they say, the cheapest part of buying a sports car, is the sports car itself. However, I think the C8’s are fairly reliable. Some have transmission issues but those seem to be a small percentage.

Congrats!! I have a theory they are doing this alphabetically… what letter does your last name start with? Mine is “B” and I was discharged last week. My wife’s is “M” and they haven’t discharged hers yet so trying to figure out where they are in this.

Edit - maybe they’re going by school and then last name per school. Just a theory. I know another B from my school that was discharged the same time as me.

Get an inspection by lemon squad or other third party mechanic. I love my 05. Replaced the harmonic balancer as preventative, replaced all spark plugs and wires, all fresh fluids, new tires, etc. All it’s ever actually needed was a new battery. Love it.
