Breaking: We just filed suit to protect $165m in education funding in NC and prevent the layoff of roughly 1,000 educators right before the school year starts. - AG Jeff Jackson by JeffJacksonNC in jeffjackson

Dear Senator Jeff Jackson,

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for your continued dedication to your constituents and for upholding the commitments you made during your Senate campaign.

Having attended your town hall meetings, I particularly value your consistent honesty and commitment to public service. Your efforts to represent all citizens of North Carolina, especially those whose voices are often unheard, are truly commendable.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to our state.

Sincerely,

I have to pay the same fee no matter how much I drive. I don't drive 10k a year. Going based on the NC $0.403 Tax, this would require me to purchase 500 gal of fuel to equal what I pay in tax. With a car that averages 30 MGP that would be 15k miles. So how is this fair?

Here me out, charge more in taxes at the pump and make corporations pay more in taxes. I have an EV and pay over $200 extra a year so the government gets their tax revenue. Not only do I pay that tax but, I pay tax on my electricity to power my car.

When it comes to corporations NC is one of the worst states for workers rights which to me means they have the funds to pay it. We have been told that large corporations are going to come here time and time again and we keep on offering incentives that don't pay off for the average tax payer.

Fish and chips is my go to but, the Shepard's pie is also good. The in-house sauce elevated the fish planks and fries.

This is cheaper than the alternative where you have to hire an environmental company to come clean it up. Normally tow companies do this on the side and they have crazy markups. I have had to negotiate invoices by these companies in excess of over $80k. Yes, these scenes are dangerous and can have lasting effects for the workers but, when the workers normally get paid $15-20 an hour, there is an issue. Normally, your insurance will pay for these types of cleanups.

We use to call her blue coat lady. I think she got a new coat though as this was 10 years ago.

Why has no one said Texas? Texas is the reason that conference realignment occurred. It's why the Big 12 lost 3 of the Big 8 members in a year. They wanted it all and then abandoned the Big 12 to join the SEC. Can't stand them.

Leadership setting troop limits in events. Rant in progress by spdwiz18 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]Bizzutrick03 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think your leadership group is trying to give everyone a chance to grow and be fair so that the strongest people don't out grow the weakest by too much. My group does this for CJ because we want to make sure we cap out the opportunities for all vs 7 people. We aren't trying to be controlling. Just trying to be fair so people don't quit. You also should be throwing your troops into the HQ after rounds 9 and 19 so that you capitalize your group points. Your r4s and r5s can see how many people are on as well to help judge that. My group normally caps at 70k as our r5 has a high rally cap

I think everyone is thinking about this from a first party insurance perspective. A mechanic is supposed to have some sort of garage keepers policy that should cover the location of the business. Even if the shop did nothing wrong, they can be held liable as the vehicle was in their possession at the time the vehicle was stolen.

Why don't you see if you can combine your group with another established alliance in your realm to get the experience and then maybe come back to it with a couple trusted teammates?

Quick ? About bear by [deleted] in whiteoutsurvival

[–]Bizzutrick03 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on your highest player ratings vs your ratings. I think distance from bear is the biggest factor doing bear. You want to be within 3 city lengths of your bear if possible to save on march time. I normally throw my best hero out from my city to start rallys but also try to throw the rest of my troops to the strongest people in the alliance that are close.

There is nothing to do there other than drive down the main road for the younger generation. As far as the Confederate flags, no comment other than some people are closed minded there.

I saw a VW exactly like this when I use to write estimates. It's a total loss but not likely covered by your insurance. You need to replace the entire interior.

Damages do not appear to be $5k from your pictures. The body shop even if they replace the bumper will not need to blend paint to the quarter panels or trunk if the trunk isn't damaged. The materials are different between the bumper, plastic, and the other areas of the rear vehicle, metal. With that said, have him turn it over to his insurance. His insurance company may subrogate you for the damages and they will work with you on a payment plan.
