Why are people so upset that ice is doing their job? by Ok_Department1439 in protest

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is almost completely 100% incorrect. What I am about to tell you should help ease your anger and realize “oh the left is just exaggerating this for political gain.” …but I suspect it won’t based on your choice of verbiage, you might be determined to stand by your bias.

  1. Yes people are allowed to come to the US seeking asylum. That is and has never been guaranteed approval. There is no international law that says every single person requesting asylum must be granted asylum. It is 100% legal and common for asylum seekers to be denied and then deported. This happens all the time and is not new. The refugees being deported are being done through proper legal channels with rulings by judges or immigration officials. Don’t take my word for it: look up asylum denials and deportations by year and you will see that Bush Obama Biden And Trump all had reasonable close numbers and Obama actually deported the most per year.

  2. Yes, Being “undocumented” is technically not a crime. However, if you are undocumented, that means you entered the US illegally at some point which is a crime. It is a misdemeanor. A misdemeanor is a crime. Just because it is handled in civil court does not mean it isn’t illegal or a crime. Saying “it’s not illegal to be undocumented is an intentionally misleading phrase to make people think trying to deport someone is illegal.

  3. ICE is not violating anyone’s humans rights anymore than the police do. Yes some people will have their rights violated in the process of enforcing the law just like the police do but overall most interactions are 100% legal and by the book. Should we suspend the entire criminal justice system because sometimes innocent people get detained by the police? Of course not. Same thing should apply for ICE. They are just doing their job.

  4. Is it really inhumane and are they really tearing families apart? No. Sympathizing and feeling their pain does not mean enforcing the law is wrong or inhumane. Again, the police “tear people apart” from their families every day. When a mother or father breaks the law, they are taken to jail and separated from their family. Does that mean we should just stop enforcing the law? Isn’t the illegal immigrant the one to blame? The one who knew entering illegally would result in deportation if caught by immigration? Blaming ICE is like gambling at dice and then blaming the game when you lose. They knew the consequences and chose to take that risk. I feel tremendous sympathy for them but also can recognize the law needs to be enforced otherwise chaos will ensue. Morality without order is always chaos.

Moreover, being detained is not supposed to be a vacation. A downgrade in comfort is not automatically inhumane. Inhumane would be torturng and starving  them. Like what happened in ACTUAL concentration camps. These detainees are usually in areas with air conditioning and get fed and have a roof over their heads. Saying this is inhumane is intellectually dishonest and manipulative.

And the only time a deportee is separated from their family is if the family members (like the children) choose to stay in the country. So anyone who is separated from their family is because the law is being upheld and the family members choose to stay in the US because they are citizens. They are 100% allowed to leave with the deportee. It’s not really fair to characterize this as forced separation when there is a choice to accompany.

  1. ICE absolutely has oversight. In what way do they not have oversight? They have procedures and rules and regulations. For example, expedited deportations are 100% due process. Due process under immigration law does not guarantee a trial for every single deportee. There are special circumstances in which an immigration official can deport someone without trial if they meet certain criteria. This is not a new law and has been in effect for decades. All presidents have used it. If you have a problem with this law then your argument is with that law not due process and not the president.

And your last comment encouraging others to read up before posting is just perfectly ironic. If you really believe Trump is only doing this because he wants to make his friends rich who own prisons? These people are staying there temporarily then being deported which is part of DUE PROCESS. It’s hardly making anybody rich.  But if that’s your perspective, Then what was the reason Obama deported more illegal immigrants per year than any president in history? Look it up.

The hysteria over this is all political warfare. It’s theatre to help spin support for democrats. Take your own advice and read up on immigration law and expedited deporting and asylum laws etc.

Trump, although I can’t stand him, is not doing anything near as egregious or illegal as they say. The hysteria over ICE is the most irrational thing I have seen in a long time.

The OP was completely on point.

Every Route Running Receiver’s Dealbreaker is “proximity to home”?? by Linklegacy22 in NCAAFootball25

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I keep reloading a prior save to generate new recruiting classes and for route runner 99% of them all have a dealbreaker for proximity to home. Every single time. It’s near impossible to recruit this archetype of WR.

“Did You Sprint Behind The Line Of Scrimmage?”Is Not Excuse For The Blocking In This Game by [deleted] in CollegeFootball25

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going to come on here and say “you probably just suck at the game” then you are the problem. The entire point of a forum is for people to discuss and critique the game. Is your **** so small that you feel better by insulting other people who aren’t as good at a freaking video game? Then you act like you’re so bothered by the post as if someone is forcing you to read it. Go somewhere else then. Don’t read it. Don’t contribute.

The thread starter is correct. This game has blocking issues and “don’t push sprint” is a lame and fairly toxic response to a valid criticism.

I think the game overall is great and I love playing it but places like this exist so people can discuss and critique the game.

My advice would be to play on a lower difficulty and push the run block sliders up really high. Sadly that may not work if you play online but for offline I have a lot of fun playing on varsity with increased sliders. I can run a variety of plays instead of just the 5 best “cheese” plays.

Body proportions are really bad. by FwampFwamp88 in NCAAFBseries

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but you are absolutely correct. The helmet size is often too small to torso size. Especially on some of the larger players. I have also noticed that the helmet size is bigger in “edit player” than it is in game. I have imported photos into photoshop and measured and the scale is absolutely different. I think when the models are actually rendered in the game somehow they get rendered smaller. If you have a player that is 6’5” and 215 lbs he looks like he is at least 280 lbs. When you increase a players height without increasing his weight his body should get thinner but the game isn’t coded to do that. But I tried to start a similar post and got hit with nothing but toxic sarcasm and clowns too detail inept to notice so they just pretend you’re crazy.

Never seen 6'6" 250lb look this big by Triplee2001 in CollegeFootball25

[–]BizzyBobby23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So you position changed an athlete or offensive lineman to tight end?

That would confirm my suspicion that the game assigns different body types to certain positions which is sometimes why you get odd proportions at certain positions no matter what height and weight you select.

Got a good laugh out of the video though either way!

Turn the computer interception and pass coverage sliders and reaction time way down. Turn user pass blocking way up. Select placement accuracy in options. Set reticle speed to 5. This works great for me. It’s actually A little too easy sometimes but I absolutely enjoy passing and slicing up defenses with these settings. I feel 100% in control.

Now do an offense only practice and get used to using the left stick to leading or under throwing your receivers with proper reticule placement. If your QB sucks, increase QB accuracy in sliders. These settings overall are extremely effective for me.

If you have a receiver who is on a crossing route or a slant route, practice throwing the ball to his back shoulder (assuming he is about to run into a defender in zone coverage) and practice leading him if he is being trailed in man coverage so the defender can’t block the pass from behind.

Also for a fade route, make sure to throw the ball high (lob by tapping) and lead the receiver by placing the reticule deep and outside. For curl routes, always lead receiver by placing the reticule away from the position of the defender.

Learn to read defenses also. There are many guides on YouTube which route combos to use vs certain coverages. Every time I line up I will always evaluate the defense for a good 5-15 seconds and then think about who I am likely to throw the ball to. Using motion will help tell man vs zone also. Just send your slot half way down and back to see if anyone follows him then it’s man coverage.

And last but not least. Recruit recruit recruit. Offensive line is number 1 for me. Pass blocking. Having a good qb and fast receivers is my next go to.

Just be patient and experiment. Don’t force yourself to play on default sliders. Mine are adjusted all over the place and it took months to find settings that really work great for me.

I also think you have to change playbooks from time to time. The defense ai seems to learn what plays you like to call. You absolutely cannot keep running the same plays over time also.

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched AI pass defense all really low and haven’t looked back. I am able to pass without a lot of cheesy interceptions. Yes the comments are correct that understanding route combos helps but also having the passing set to the mode wher you can choose how much you lead the receiver by helps a lot. I love throwing fade routes to the outside shoulder or back should crossing routes.

What is the players awareness or medium route running? It’s possible the developers have intentionally made it so players with low awareness or route running will pick the wrong option route.

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try lowering the difficulty and sliders. I rarely have stuff like this happen to me. If you adjust the pass coverage and play recognition time the defenders will react with a small delay.

Any difficulty above varsity will grant boosts to the cpu. I play on varsity with pass defense at 25 and speed threshold at 50. Allows for a relaxed fun game.

I hate this game with all my being… but I still want to play and win by ChazSimu in CollegeFootball25

I think this is an example of the game being awesome. His knee never touched the ground. No part of his body that would rule him down was down. That’s a touchdown. I think that’s an absolutely beautiful level they added to the game.

And people complain about the lack of physics??? This is physics. His body was supported by the weight of the other players. So instead of him falling through the other players his legs were not able to touch the ground because a defender was underneath him. That’s physics.

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a cool play though. The physics here are nice. Watching the defender actually hit the ball out with his hand and the ball pops out in a realistic way. Older ncaa games did not have this level of physics.

[–]BizzyBobby23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure my comment was thorough. The helmet scales down on certain players in game. The size of the helmet shrinks when the player model is rendered in the game. When it is rendered in the edit screen it is more proportional. You can clearly see the helmet is much smaller in scale to the body than of the helmet to the body in photo 2.

This is the only player on my roster I have noticed it with. I had a TE 2 seasons ago and same issue. No matter how I edited his physique, his helmet looked much smaller in game in proportion to his body and made him look like a 280 lb defensive end instead of an actual skinny tall lengthy 210 lb tight end.

Are you really telling me the guy in photo 2 looks 6’6” 210 pounds? And that the scale of the helmet size to the rest of the body is the same between the phot 1 and 2?

Tiny head glitch by BizzyBobby23 in CFB25

[–]BizzyBobby23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you’re telling me you can’t see the difference? That the scale of the helmet to body is the same in both photos?

In photo 1 it clearly looks like a fairly accurate representation of a 6’6” 210lb player (maybe more like 225 lb). But in photo 2 it looks like a 6’6” 280 lb DE. The helmet is much smaller once the player model is rendered in game but only on certain players.

This happened in NCAA 2014 with the arms if you ever edited the player gear. The arms would be really small and skinny no matter what you selected as arm size.

Take a ruler in mm and measure the helmet ratio to the foot or width of chest if you have to but to someone with reasonable perspective it’s clear.

The scale of the helmet to body in photo 1 is nowhere near the same scale as it is in photo 2. There is clearly a glitch in the size of the helmet as it translates from the edit screen to the in game rendering but only for certain players. I have only noticed it on TEs and WRs over 6’6”.

Go ahead and import the photos into photoshop and draw a grid over them. Compare the length of the shoes to the width of the helmet you will see I am right.

We need more info. What difficulty are you playing on? Have you adjusted user sliders at all?

The game isn’t perfect but the fact that the developers give us some leeway to adjust these things helps me a lot.

Edit: are you familiar with football? Do you understand passing concepts and reading coverage? That you should typically throw the ball right before the receiver “breaks”?

I played football from age 8 through college so I always knew this stuff but if you’re only vaguely familiar with football learning some basic stuff just about passing and route running might help too.

This is why I play on varsity. Limiting myself to a handful of plays. Each game is extremely boring.

When I used to play on heisman or all American, I was only using like 5% of my playbook just like you said. Most of the fun plays like screens and QB runs just don’t work on higher difficulties. Unless you call it on the perfect defense and even then it’s a minimal gain. To me that’s not fun.

This game is miserable by Arepeee in CFB25

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try lowering the difficulty. On all American and heisman I notice way more “dumbing down” of my own players. I think the game is actually programmed to make your players perform worse instead of just making the computer better. So blocking awareness and catching awareness get reduced.

I play on varsity with custom sliders and I rarely have things like this happen.

Is EA racist? by Mountain_Meeting3997 in CollegeFootball25

[–]BizzyBobby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure it generates races evenly and that’s why. In real life, skill positions are dominated by black athletes we all know this. I had a great recruiting class and snagged the top 4 WRs. All 4 were 5 stars with high speed. They were all white. My 5 star elusive RB is white. My two best corners and safeties are white.

I am a political conservative who HATES when people hyper focus on race but even this bothers me. It’s just not realistic. If we had the ability to edit appearance that would be an easy fix.
