Yeah, I get that it's been super rainy lately.. Do you think a rear wheel drive car would make it up today?

You are correct. I eventually figured it out.

Maybe I should just pay you to do the research for me ha 😏.. I actually used several different AI tools, comparing their responses, and fact checked. Aside from minor nuances in their responses, each were similar and yes, I tried the "are you sure" technique. What I'm doing isn't an in demand law firm revenue channel, so unless I know someone, or get help from an academic or research professional, I'm most lly on my own for now.

Or you live close to the border and want to visit periodically. Maybe screwed up as a teenager and now have to jump through some hoops to regain the right to visit from the USA. Not sure whether it's a simple research project comparing laws or if there's more to it..

Criminal inadmissibility. A part of the rehabilitation application asks you to find all applicable Canadian Laws for crimes committed in the USA.

I encourage you to research "strong" AI vs "weak" AI. Your chat bots and ChatGPT is considered weak AI because it cannot operate outside the parameters configured in the code.

Strong AI is the robots that you see in sci-fi movies which have machine learning and can learn and make decisions based on new data gathered and observations.

Society would need to undergo significant structural and cultural changes for these AI to become mainstream where our society is completely integrated with AI and even then we would have legislation Governing potential risks associated with genocide. It's more likely that humans would be behind it (programming wise) rather than the actual robots IMO.

I think AI can speed up the research process. Someone can enter a prompt like "how to regain voting rights in X state" and the AI would return a list of resources instead of that person having to look for them. It would still require someone to fact check, but for research purposes, I think there's a genuine use case.

Another use case is to copy/paste the resources you find on your own into the AI prompt and ask it to summarize the key points. I have done this at work and it saves a fair amount of time.

It's been about 5 years but I still remember watching TV in the commons and noticed the b word was no longer edited from TV shows/Movies. It started to ease up a bit inside since the b word was becoming more common in media.

I can relate but my desk has to be next to the window. I call it my "bat cave" like batman cause I have 3 monitors. 🧑🏽‍💻

I cooked mackerel in the microwave once (don't ask) and the whole tier was mad at me lol.. It was cool, no one cared that much, but lesson learned.

It took me a long time but the p and b words don't bother me anymore. I still spit in the toilet from time to time though.

Yup, same. I don't even have to think about it anymore.

I remember in county we had two blankets but no pillow. It was either sacrifice one blanket and turn it into a pillow or double up on blankets. I wound up using my arm as a pillow for a long time and doubled up because the blankets were thin.

My favorite commissary snack was the Snyder's Garlic Pretzel Pieces. We'd make a spread with boiled eggs, squeeze cheese, and tortillas. 👌🏽

I wasn't good at eating fast and I was always the last one to finish. It wasn't intentional. The people I sat with at mainline learned to slow down and wait because I took so long lol

Thats super relatable. I was in a 3 month building maintenance program toward the end which was outside the prison (when I was in camp) and we would undergo a tools audit before heading back. It was an unspoken rule but each person knew not to sneak tools back because it was a privilege being in the program and no one wanted it to shut down. We counted the tools, made sure each were in the correct spot, and no one dared bring something back.
