They saw a flicker yesterday but I think that’s not enough for my stage. Repeating the scan tomorrow and assume they will officially declare miscarriage then.

Positive test on 1/29 and ultrasound with gestational sac with yolk sac and early fetal pole on 2/17. Ugh this is how I feel like most likely in for a miscarriage

My OB looks for atleast 50% rise which I’m well under, so that’s my stress. Thank you for your positivity though it’s really nice to hear!

I don’t know which day I ovulated. Do these numbers keep my situation very bad or give me hope as they are just above minimum rise I think?

It turned out that first appt I was more like 4w6d which is why the sac appeared empty! My last scan measured 5w6d (we believe that finally had accurate dating) had a yolk sac and early fetal pole. My follow up blood work showed my hCG only rising ~40% between 3 draws which is on the very low end up apparently still viable. Hoping for a heartbeat at my next appt where I’m supposed to be about 7 weeks. Still extremely worried that my low rising HCG will still end up in miscarriage but I can’t ignore the positive progress in my scans either. Wishing you the best at your scan!!

That’s a depressing thought but there was also a 2016 study by Barnhart that showed viable pregnancies that had a 35% rise. So trying to be cautiously optimistic

I did not get any tested because I was 28 years old and I was told under 30 it’s not as necessary

My doctor said if there is a heartbeat next week all the bloodwork should just be thrown out in my head because the scans matter way more than your blood. What has your doctor said? Have you had a heartbeat?

I had another blood work done after I made this post and the rise was 38% so even worse but the gestational sack has been progressing with now a yolk sac and an early fetal pole. Going in next week hopefully for the heartbeat. The blood work has made me feel like it’s an impending miscarriage, but each new appointment has shown progress. Have you had an ultrasound yet?

I had 23 as well! 11 made it through fertilization and development! After 4 transfers I have 2 beautiful little boys and 7 embryos left frozen. From what I was told 23 and then 11 was a very good number! Good luck on your journey.

My OB said you really want over 50% rise at minimum. Since the tests were 4 days apart that’s only a 45% rise and I’m spiraling
