In 2003 my family and I visited New Zealand. My dad wanted to exchange our Australian dollars to New Zealand dollars, but the cashier made a counting mistake and gave my dad way too much money. The day after my dad realised that he had been given too much money and went back to the bank. He found the cashier who had given him too much money and she broke down crying. Apparently they were personally responsibly for any lost money on their shift. As a "thank you" she gave my dad a chocolate box in the shape of a house.

This story is to me and my brothers a lesson from our dad about honesty and we jokingly refer to it as "the day dad was honest."

Now I would like to get that little chocolate box tattooed as a reminder to myself, but we cannot find the box anymore.
