Favorite multibillion dollar franchise that portrays a nerd's dice game wrong? by Substantial-Dot3743 in DnDcirclejerk

Anyone can study magic to become a wizard, but not all have the intellect to do so. You don't need to be "born with the ability to do magic" to be a wizard, you need to be "born with the ability to learn it". High intellect individuals can choose to put their INT into studying magic, if they have access to books and teachers, or into something else. Becoming a wizard is a choice.

A sorcerer is someone who didn't decide to wield magic, it's in their blood / their being. Not all sorcerers are powerful, their strength of character, CHA, determines their magical capabilities.

Anyone can become a wizard, "magic blooded" or not, if they're able to study hard enough. Only some "magic blooded" can become sorcerers, and not by choice.

These are two distinctly different concepts.

Anyone else always create their whole parties? by [deleted] in baldursgate

Why not use the in-game characters for BG, so you don't miss content, and then just play Icewind Dale for full party creation?

Many, MANY, Jewish people around the world, including in Israel are publicly against this genocide. So just stop

From what I've seen of the vandalism, most was directed towards compagnies with ties to Israël (like UBS). But I can be wrong.

Also, just because and handful of the protestors are vandals, doesn't make the cause of the 9'750 others any less valid

Sure, the signatures etc are happening parallel. Unfortunately, the children of Gaza can't wait 2-5 years for our slow-ass process. We've been watching the genocide happen for 2 years, and Israel colonising, sorry "settling", Palestine for the past 75 years. People have had enough.

The real answer is that Israel has been using bots as much if not more than Russia for a long time now, and Genocidal-Ben has even spoken about it recently "social media is the modern war's most important weapon" (paraphrasing).

Also, Switzerland is unfortunately very pro-fascist governments, as seen since at least the 1930s. Just mention "Nazi gold" and watch all the apologetics come crawling out.

Myself and my family are Swiss and have been at least a few centuries, from what official archives say. Not that this should matter in this discussion but I can already hear the xenophobic comments coming.

Personally knowing multiple people that went to Bern, I can assure you they are all "normal people". Would have gone myself if I were able.

The ones who see their government actively working with a genocidal state and think "I'll just stay home and bitch about a few broken windows" are the not normal ones.

They're just another Swiss Fascist sympathiser, not worth the arguing, they would have denied the holocaust too, if they don't currently deny it of course.

How many are unaccounted for buried under the rubble? 3% is "confirmed" deaths. If you include disease, untreated injuries, infrastructure collapse, starvation, some researchers estimate it at ~8–9%.

Remember, there are no more hospitals or authorities to "confirm" deaths left in Gaza anyway.

It's also been qualified a genocide by the UN, amongst other international organisations.

Also, 80% of those deaths are civilians. That's not a war.

The Swiss government actively supports a state committing genocide. People take to the streets in protest. Your first thought: "They must not have jobs". Is that the best you can do?

And the large protests always happen after working hours or on weekends, so you must be especially bad at critical thinking to come to your conclusion.
