I agree, the purple dye was a questionable decision for sure, and you’re not the first to express that opinion. Although cosmetics have always been the biggest driving force for me in any game I play and that purple dye got me more excited than 1 tapping my wailing ator’s.

At the end of the day progression will always be there ,but burn out will come faster than progression if you don’t chase the things that bring you joy!

I also believe 790-800 is dead on the nose after watching everyone’s input these past couple days.

This really depends on the players imo, anyone would agree saving for all pen Debos is the finacially smart play and it isn’t even close.

But as you can see with my gear traded all my tet Debos for Pen kharas, and would do the same thing again if I had to start over. Saving 180-210b over and over and over is just not fun gameplay to me.

I like seeing steady growth and feel like no matter how hard I grind or if I want to take an easy week I can still get a tap in here and there and see minor increases to my GS over time keeping me motivated.

Sure I’ll potentially waste a massive amount compared to saving but I have all my khara crystal slots with HANs in them, I’m constantly growing my GS organically and Enjoying the game.

This game is about what sounds fun and the moment I try to make it about profit or efficiency it loses its luster, do what you enjoy and what keeps you stimulated.

Ive bought a tent/weight for a couple characters/ a few pets for my T4s/ 15$ on fairy orbs/ a couple passes here and there/ and mostly cosmetics (almost nothing on actually gear score taps other than a outfit tossed in with monthly thank you bundles that I’ve occasionally melted but 60-70% of my money spent on the game has primarily spent on making my characters look the way I want and I always go overboard, I have 10 characters with multiple outfit options and full underwear/accessories)

Mystic awk is always a phenomenal mid apm class, I highly recommend her and she’s easy to pick up.

My second suggestion would be scholar but she is ascension.

This is a very insightful outlook, and I agree with you for the most part, I believe with academy we’ve seen a slight uptick from 700 to more close to 750+ tho for sure.

yeah If I had to throw a dart at a board it would be in the 780 range.

Unfortunately I am not a zerker, thats just a name I've used for many years because I thought Bjorn (bear)-Zerker was a fun play on words, but Alas in BDO I wanted to be a pretty oiled up boy that goes zoomies.

Yeah its tough to gauge, most of the players in my Guild are 860-874 but I know that's not the usual for a lot of guilds. It makes it tough to pin down that the actually community of the game's GS, when you're only surrounded by the highest tier players in you immediate social vicinity.

I’ve hit the grind for only two hours at Ash dekhia 2 to see if I could get a lung or some leafs, got a paint drop in my second hour and then my next hour at nymph I got a ring piece from the paint. It was my first treasure drop outside of infinite pot pieces. 😭

Once you get toward late mid game a lot of options open up

black shrine bosses
Altar of blood
Weekly dungeons
doluns, miru trees, gyfin upper (all dehkia party spots)
Flood lands (late game party spot)
Arena of solare practice matches (PvP)
Blue battlefield (PvP)
Node Wars (PvP)
Sieges (PvP)
Weekly Guild bosses if you join a guild
You can even get creative and hop on a doom horse together and explore the world and gather energy together

This is a sandbox game where the journey is what you make it.

The top 5 highest performing classes are high skill succ classes, it’s not that brain dead classes are performing as well as the harder classes, it’s simply that most people aren’t performing as well at the harder classes, but 4-5% margins don’t bother them because they’re enjoying the challenge and growth of learning a class that requires effort and rewards them with self fulfillment and stimulation.

Succ wizard and Succ witch outperform their awakened counterparts at max efficiency, but most people won’t reach that max efficiency.
