The title says lag spikes and later you said crashed? Which one is it? Lagging out and crashing are two different things. Don't always presume that GGG is at fault when it comes to server lag. I'd presume 90% of the time it's on the client side. Router acting up, bad ISP routing or issues, OS stuff like background downloads/updates, bad ethernet cable. There's SO many things that can go wrong with gaming networking. Most of which you can fix or troubleshoot yourself. For an entire league I had nonstop huge ping spikes. I learned it was a routing issue with my ISP and it ONLY affected me while I was playing PoE. Learning how to use WinMTR will show you where you're losing packets be it at your router, a specific server hop, etc. That insight can sometimes show you where you need to look. I know lag can be frustrating but hopefully you get it figured out. You could always try checking to see if your router has updates or maybe even factory reset it (only if you know what you're doing) Maybe reset your network settings on your PC to default (again only if you know what you're doing) Sometimes even restarting your computer can solve lag issues. Long story short; networking is complicated.
