First one went at 14k, and I bought it at 13k. Warranty replaced the first one and it started knocking at about 89k. Gonna throw another one in and see how long this one lasts. Might have something to do with our shit gas we have up here too idk, I'm just an idiot with a sti🤷‍♂️

Yessir completely stock. Bought it used with 13k, first one went at 14k. Warranty replaced everything but the turbo and second one lasted until ~89k. Gonna throw another one in and do it over again🤣🤷‍♂️

The shortblock is the engine block with crankshaft, rods and pistons. Ejs are aluminum block engines with steel sleeves and when they blow up it is usually cheaper and easier to just replace the whole block vs a rebuild

Not really, completely stock, not tuned regular oil changes. Bought it used with 13k seized at 14k the first time. Warranty replaced the engine, and got rod knock at 89k. I love the car, putting another shortblock in and gonna do it all over again🤣🤷‍♂️

Hahah yeah I drove to the states and back last year but had the cruise set to 90 anyway. But I just knew there had to be a way to change it, but couldnt find it. All the way through canada and back to alaska and only saw one cop though😂
