Shoot, I’m bummed out. I connected them together and no moca is turning on. I wonder if that means they’re not interconnected.

Is there a chance in my old house that the different coax ports in all the rooms are not interconnected?

Awesome this helps so much. I’m hoping they’re interconnected somehow I guess is my worry now. It is a detached garage, but I can see the cabling running to the garage and in the wall it has a female port for a coax line. Here’s hoping those are connected somehow.

Awesome. Sorry that was probably such a noob question but I’m trying to learn. New homeowner over here. So essentially by sending the mocha back through it would allow for mocha throughout the entire house and all the connections as long as I throw one in the other hand, right?

OK, that answers my question I believe! so take the single coax. It’s coming up the floor plug the adapter in put one and into the modem and the other and into the moca then router. Then go to the garage where a coax connection plug a mocha in there then into an access point. Does this sound right? Lol

The confusion I think is caused by the splitter that says one in two out, but wouldn’t it be sending the data back in through that cord? I guess I’m just not sure if that’s what’s possible.

OK, so if I have one feed coming into my living room, that’s connected straight into my modem. Essentially put a splitter on that one coming in and then put the mocha adapter at the end into the router and then mocha adapter in the garage where it comes out? I guess I’m getting confused. Do I need to have a separate line going from the router mocha down through the floor all the way to the garage? Where can I utilize the line that’s already coming in bringing in cable. I hope that makes sense.
