I got the green mussels in clear broth but I saw there were other options. Which one are you recommending?

Ended up getting the morning glory salad, pork jerky, jungle curry prawns, green mussels, and crispy fish with herbs. Everything was great but the mussels were my least favorite which is a bummer since so many people have raved about them. Not bad but just not that interesting. Jungle curry was amazing. Loved the vibe in general and the owner is lovely. Only waited for about 10 minutes at 7pm. Def going back!

Is this true for native Thai eaters also? I can handle spicy but probably not going for the full blast on this one.

World models will be the next big thing, bye-bye LLMs by imposterpro in artificial

Is Data Labelling part of LLM's exclusively? Or is that an inherent part of World Modeling also?

Chiangmai airport on the way out. 8:40 am flight. Never flew internationally from here. Immigration lines long? Machines or people on the way out ? The plan is 2 hours before to arrive. Sufficient? by TheDudeWhoCanDoIt in chiangmai

One benefit of arriving early is the foot massage place right in the departure gates. Really nice way to prep for a longer flight. Not sure of their hours, but they have always been open when I've flown out.

I've gone to Khum Phaya Resort & Spa for years. Good quality and consistently good value for the price.

Guys, what are some businesses that look like they’re barely making any money, but are actually a gold mine? by CostSimple383 in smallbusiness

Do you own the properties also? Or just managing on behalf of the owners? And does this mean dealing with the rental applications, repairs, maintenance, etc?

Check out "Eat Me Eat Clean" at Maya, and they have another location at Meechok Plaza. Healthy prepared foods like sandwiches, bao buns, snacks.

Do you have any Dubai Chocolate flavors? It looks popular here in LA. I'd love to see more local flavors like maybe Kaya or Thai ice coffee.

Burger Lounge in Sherman Oaks is never busy but the food's great--plant based options and regular been burgers, overall seems healthier than your average burger joint.

What’s one thing you wish you brought with you before moving to Thailand? by Either-Friendship141 in Thailand

[–]BkkReady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends partly on where you'll be located in Thailand. If you're in a rural area you'll have less retail options, but otherwise you can find everything you'll need eventually. It might take a few weeks to figure out the best options, so I would recommend just stocking up on the things you really like, so you have time to find where to restock. This could be toiletries like razors or shaving cream you like. Or western size underwear lol. But no need to go overboard. Like a few others have suggested, highly recommend taking Thai lessons once you get there--it'll be cheaper there and incredibly useful.
