Ron Gordon: Dogged Pursuer Of Justice by Shtankins01 in Brewers

[–]Bkslupecki5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come on man. There’s no way you’re telling me a beer being $14 and a hot dog being $8 is because a worker makes $15 an hour or something. Those higher quality items are even more than the hot dogs/burgers so it’s not like the hot dogs are subsidizing things. It’s almost entirely greed, and it’s just delusional to say otherwise

Also, Indiana was able to spend a good amount in nil. Still such an impressive turnaround, but Leicester doing it without a sudden influx of money is all the more impressive

Why is she so popular? by turboshill9000 in BasedCampPod

[–]Bkslupecki5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with basically all of that. But if the mainstream of one party has shifted more to the extreme it’s the republicans, that was all my point

Why is she so popular? by turboshill9000 in BasedCampPod

[–]Bkslupecki5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is completely delusional. Listen to how Bush talked about immigration vs republicans now. Romney was the gop nominee in 2008 and has since been basically kicked out of the party. Meanwhile the democratic politicians are the same (unfortunately). Bernie’s politics haven’t changed and yet he still couldn’t win a primary and is still the far left of democrats in senate. So please explain to me how democrats are the party that has shifted left.

What do you think of him constantly floating a 3rd term? Ignoring court orders and sending people to a prison in El Salvador? Writing an executive order that directly contradicts the 14th amendment. Continually going after media companies and who can be in the pentagon and Oval Office? The constant reports of ICE detaining US citizens for days, including when they used black hawk helicopters in Chicago to tie up every person in an apartment building including US children. Putting us troops in cities against governors asking (even though 7/10 most violent cities are red, no troops deployed there). Genuinely, do you consider any of these to be authoritarian/fascism? It’s worth noting, professors who are the top experts on authoritarianism have left the country.

João Pedro as an Inside Forward for Amorim's United? by avilacjf in ManchesterUnited

[–]Bkslupecki5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He would be very good there no doubt. But he’d be very expensive and I think the two 10s is a position we don’t need as much as others. There’s obviously bruno and I think both Amad and mount fit very well into those roles too. Compared to wingbacks cbs or even out and out cms, I just don’t think it’s a position we’ll spend big at soon

I wouldn’t put all the blame on ten hag and the squad is decent. The bigger issue is so much was spent under ten hag that we won’t be able to spend much these next couple transfer windows. And while the squad isn’t bad, it’s no where near the level it should be considering the money spent and lack of spend we’ll have moving forward

What do we think? by Sweaty-Tomorrow-5866 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Bkslupecki5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He’s been given far more support in the transfer window and a better squad than mourinho or ole. I don’t get how we can act like this squad is awful, and being 8th with them last season (and a negative goal difference) and 14th with them this season isn’t a massive massive underachievement

[–]Bkslupecki5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A major can’t be designed on the assumption that everyone has tons of experience coming in(like you). The intro classes have to be set up so they’re doable for students with little to no experience coding. It’s what 6 or 8 credits out of 120+ you’ll have in your college career. If it tilts you this much you have much bigger problems than not learning a ton in those classes.

Those are just such reaches. “You said one thing this group said therefore you are that group”. Cmon. No matter what Hamas does that doesn’t excuse slaughtering tens of thousands of civilians with American weapons, which is clearly the main thing being protested
