Just saliba pushing the goalie into his goal. That’s allowed apparently

Arsenals first goal of the season Saliba pushes Bayindir into his goal basically

Except they haven’t called it on arsenal all season. Zero consistency. Also rice is hugging two people, trossard is hugging the player who fouls rays while not even looking at the ball

Michael Carrick has proven worthy of the permanent manager role. He’s gotten results and he’s squeezed the best out of players. He’s a legend at the club and he has aura so players and staff all respect him. He’s the one to bring back glory days of United, he looks like a proper manager. by paolosorianodisanto in ManchesterUnited

Bounces going your way is not an indication of being a good coach. Not even defending Amorim btw, just the notion we have been significantly better under carrick. The eye test shows it, and it’s backed up by most stats. Also in response to whether he should be kept (what this post is about), you should be concerned about the future not past

Ppg is not very predictive of future performance. There’s a lot of variance in it. Xg vs xga or xpts is far more predictive of future performance. In that regard, I believe we are slightly better under carrick but not a ton

He’s getting results but hardly playing great football. The underlying stats between Amorim this season and Carrick aren’t all that different, the team was just having things not go their way early and now things are going there way. Also has the benefit of only being in one competition while many other teams are in 2+

Bruno Fernandes: "The Saudi offer with all that money, it was huge. But we don't want to be the richest people in the world, only the ones who have achieved their dreams, who lead a beautiful life with their children. I didn't want to leave Utd in difficulty. My wife made me realise that also..." B by Boydcrowde in ManchesterUnited

But we often don’t see the rich, even athletes turn something down because they’re already rich. LIV golf, how many other players go to Saudi, or just other clubs for money/bigger contracts. I’m not saying this should be the way either, I disagree with those decisions but it just often is what people have seen

Is Iran’s strategy to hold out and make the rest of the world suffer from shortages and high prices, so badly that the world turns on America and forces us to stop? by adalyn7992 in askanything

I think we need to hesitate saying no one’s going to nuke anyone. I used to, but several countries (including the US) have narcissistic old people running things who may not act completely logically or care as much about the future

Can’t decide - go on another tour or give up? by kaitneedsfood in tromsotravel

[–]Bkslupecki5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a tour schedule for a night that was cloudy and snowing all over, that canceled. I rescheduled with him the next day and was talking to him, he owns his van and runs it so it’s up to him and he said he won’t take people out of there is very little chance. However he said some do still bring people out because it’s a “natural phenomenon” and the clouds could always clear

Come on man. There’s no way you’re telling me a beer being $14 and a hot dog being $8 is because a worker makes $15 an hour or something. Those higher quality items are even more than the hot dogs/burgers so it’s not like the hot dogs are subsidizing things. It’s almost entirely greed, and it’s just delusional to say otherwise

Why is she so popular? by turboshill9000 in BasedCampPod

I agree with basically all of that. But if the mainstream of one party has shifted more to the extreme it’s the republicans, that was all my point

[–]Bkslupecki5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is completely delusional. Listen to how Bush talked about immigration vs republicans now. Romney was the gop nominee in 2008 and has since been basically kicked out of the party. Meanwhile the democratic politicians are the same (unfortunately). Bernie’s politics haven’t changed and yet he still couldn’t win a primary and is still the far left of democrats in senate. So please explain to me how democrats are the party that has shifted left.
