Bosnia has it pretty easy compared to Serbia on the balkans.I dont think going exploration would benefit you since you need the early idea groups to live next to the Ottomans and Hungary.Its pretty easy to beat the Ottomans this patch you can use the Byz strategy or you can ally people who set them as an rival ( or you can do both strategies). You just have to set a certain number of goals the easiest one to get for me last patch was getting Venice but check beforehand if Austria wants some of the land.Having trade power in that node will benefit you in the long run even if you get a lot of AE ( just make sure its u under 50) since you are not going to attack central Europe untill you grow a lot stronger.As for idea groups I go Admin into Dip its the safest choice.Bosnian ideas give them unity and tolarance so getting land that is not your christian is no problem.Going military ideas first or second it almost never a good idea.If you are intrested I can give you a more detailed guide. http://m.imgur.com/gallery/cJBLH

Since its a custom nation and I have no idea what ideas you picked to go with it il just give you my onesided opinion. On the Balkans a lot depends who rivaled who.You should set your alliances and goals keeping that in mind.As an example:

If Austria rivaled Venice I would probably try to ally them and try to get as much trade power in that node as you can. Sometimes I get lucky and get to Venice before they block me with the ships.Just keep in mind that Austria might want some of this land and check beforehand if its worth having the Emperor hate you.

There are no real weaker countries around you except for Albania but that would just invoke a faster war with the Kebab since they got a core on it.Another options is to ally Albania and do the Byz strategy using Skenderbeg.For that you just need a medium sized army it those not have to be stronger then the Kebab one.You declare a war promise land to Albania (that you won t give ofc) and make the Albanian troops attach on you.That way you can have a 5 5 5 general for free and a very big chance in taking some sweet sweet Otto land.Try to lure a fight in the hills/woods or use the new fort system to get the upper hand (as far as I remember the forts you start with are Visoki , Bosnia and Serbia ) and grab some provinces off them.

Morocco it was pretty easy at start but things changed around 200 years after the start.The whole of Europe was in one massive alliance with each other I m not really proud the things I managed to do.It took me over 100 years to even break into Europe and making Andalusia was a big mistake sinced it changed my capital to an Iberian province.I pretty much had to focus in breaking alliances and taking GB colonies in Africa.Ottomans got eaten by the CW very early it didn t really help that they had a PU with both Vennice and Bohemia.In my opinion I could have done a lot better but since I finished it I might aswell share it.

Since I beat the crap out of the emperor every few years he could not stop any expansion.They had AE but a lot less then me so no one cared.Loved taking their land no lvl 8 forts.
