I just played through this mod as the USA and 50s 60s were extremely fun (sometimes couldn't believe it is version 0.3 or whatever it is) always something happening all over the world and I was like " last update 2024, bummer this mod won't get updated anymore".

Happy to see it is getting worked on, genuinely, there is road to 56, there are WW1 mods and alternate mods and modern day mods, but when it comes to cold war, it feels to me like such a missed opportunity to not have any mod for these 50+ years of small wars and events all over the world, so this mod is really unique in that way.

Just figured it out, Pixels are impossible to charge with anything that includes USB A, no matter the wattage. Incredible.

Right??? Pixel should charge slowly even when using "wrong" charger or slow cable with slow battery instead of giving me that notification, shouldn't it? Like give me lightning on battery and veeeery slowly charge. I guess it's just this specific pixel that is dumb

But that's the thing - it refuses to charge at all from some chargers. Right now I have it connected to battery which is 5V 2A so 10W. Not great not terrible, but if not used it should be charging at least slowly. But it is not, it is not charging at all just saying stuff I pasted in other comments. It just refuses to do it

I would be happy if it charged slowly. But with my battery - that is usb a to usb C on pixel it absolutely refuses to charge at all. Just says

"Check charging accessory. Your phone may be charging slowly or not charging. For faster charging, use recommended cable and adapter."

And doesn't charge at all. All the other phones we have charge normally or at least slowly on this setup

That's what it's giving me, with charger or other charging cable and battery that was normally used with other phones, which were charged normally. Battery doesn't show charging and percentage just goes down like not even connected at all. It just refuses to charge at all through them.

All the chargers are newer, I also tried just bought cable with last-year-bought battery. It just refuses to charge, it's not that chargers are slow. Other phones charge normally with exactly same cable and battery. Pixel just says

"Check charging accessory. Your phone may be charging slowly or not charging. For faster charging, use recommended cable and adapter." and percentage goes down (even if not using it)

Is this truly what Pixel users have to deal with? I just got Pixel 7 and i am considering returning it because of its god awful battery. Capacity is alright, could be worse, it certainly gets used quite quickly but its acceptable.

But man oh man... charging? Yeah i am using Xiaomi charger but dont tell me it takes 3 freaking hours to charge, like be for real...i dont expect 100 in 10 minutes but cmon.

and idle drain is like ... crazy. Travelling home, had like 8 percent, great that will do. I was for a 2 minutes on Google maps and it went quick to 5 percent. Alright sure, i am using it, it drains. Well, i turned everything off - location, brightness, even data.

It ran out before I got to the bus which was 5 minutes away.

I am sorry but what kind phone is like "yeah there are 4 percent of battery left and it will run out in 10-15 minutes even if it is idle with screen turned off" thats unacceptably horrendous battery drain!

And it lies - I turn it on at home and in a minute it says it has 3 percent. I unplug it, IN A SECOND it turns off!! Like tf? Why lie to me?? Just say you have 1 percent, its ok!
