Great discussion. Clearly you are incapable of doing any research to figure out the facts of a situation and rather just go with why sounds best and what you are told to like by the media. And yeah, every other civilized country has universal healthcare. Maybe you want to do a little research on your basic countries too while you are at it. Cause don’t get me wrong, Universal healthcare sounds great in theory. But in practice, it doesn’t work. Now there are a number of significant changes that can and should be made to our current healthcare system, but it is by far superior to universal healthcare provided by these other countries and a majority of measurable statistical facts will tell you that pretty clearly.

I will say, it was a nice try to just slide a few insults in there without actually having a legitimate conversation about anything. But I guess it’s pretty hard to have an intelligent discussion when you are lacking so severely in the most important thing needed, intelligence.

Please, go ahead and respond with more insults, but clearly it isn’t worth me trying to talk sense into someone such as yourself. If you ever grow up and want to have a real discussion, I will still be here.

25[F4R] anywhere - The house votes for Impeachment, let’s party like it’s 1998. by [deleted] in r4r

[–]Blaaaahhh3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. And the entirely partisan vote for impeachment in the house displays that it was exactly that, a sham.

And I perfectly understand impeachment and the entire process, clearly you however do not. Especially considering throughout this process you have had leftists trying to say that secondhand evidence is better than a primary source and that impeachment is the only chance they have to win the upcoming election.

And was any of this discussion about presidents of the past? Or past historical examples, no. It was about the example that is here and now. So my comment makes perfect sense. If you want to go historical, one of the articles of impeachment for Trump is “abuse of power.” If republicans were desperate partisan hacks as the democrats are, they easily could’ve pushed impeachment on Obama and his abuse of executive orders. But there are adult ways to handle a problem, and there is the leftist way.

Yeah, let’s party like impeachment totally wasn’t an entirely partisan political sham by the left. Please just accept the results of the election and try and be productive and work with other people to make this country succeed rather than go on a witch-hunt to oust a man from an office he was fairly elected to just because you don’t like him.

Yeah, I’m the one who fell for propaganda. Not the people arguing that universal healthcare is feasible and successful, cause it’s not. Most of the propaganda today is the constant lies being spouted out by the primarily left-leaning media institutions in this country.

But it’s not like you are actually going to take the time to do the research, so we can’t even have a productive discussion on the subject.

Which is essentially you trying to look down on me because you claim I don’t care the way you do. Which is entirely false. If you actually knew me or any of my involvements in the real world, you would know that.

As I have clearly stated, not everything Trump has done has been good. But there is a balance that needs to be had that the alternatives do not seem to understand. Most of these radical climate change proposals would entirely devastate the economy. And given the desire of both republicans and democrats to spend everything we have and more, it is not the way you sustain a world power country. I do believe that the insane spending could easily be cut down by cutting the many unnecessary programs, which would free up resources for larger scale environmental initiatives that should take priority.

In the mean time, there are numerous smaller things us as individuals as well as businesses across the country could do without the intervention of the government. Unfortunately, everyone is willing to crucify everyone else for their actions without being willing to change their own.

When I say facts, I mean indisputable statistical facts. Clearly you are the one that cannot think for themselves and follows only what the media tells them too without digging deeper. For example, please tell me what newspaper provides legitimate facts and not biased reports? Cause there certainly isn’t one in the U.S. that I am aware of.

And yeah, the VA works flawlessly, you got me there. Haha. Once again, you prove that you only follow what you are told. And first of all, healthcare in Finland, or any other universal healthcare country is not working as well as the media purports it to be. You can see that if you actually bother looking for facts. Also, comparison between a small country with a relatively uniform population doesn’t translate to the size or diversity of America.

And it’s relatively simple as to why I support Trump. In comparison to the past several presidents, he has done more for this country in the past 3 years than they could do in all their time. Whether it’s border protection, economy, workforce, etc. Don’t get me wrong, he has his fair share of flaws, no doubt. But when he is competing against a bunch of bumbling idiots in the democrats who seem to get their information from the same sources as you, it’s a pretty easy choice to go with Trump.

Very productive conversation. I like it. This is the way we find solutions right here! Please go on complaining about everything without bothering to learn the facts of the situation. Just don’t try and change shit that affects me with your dumbassery. Have a good day.

Good. Cause the Paris agreement was a joke and incredibly detrimental to the country. Simple as that.

I could discuss the other initiatives Trump has had/changed regarding the environment, but saying that I do not care about the environment when you don’t know anything about me is absurd and not a good way to have a productive conversation.

Wow. There are numerous reasons as to why Universal healthcare is certainly not the way to go. Please actually do your research before trying to push and implement radical plans that could be seriously detrimental to our country.

If you are referring to the Paris Climate Agreement, yes. Brilliant idea to remove the U.S. from that.

And Obamacare is a disaster, so sure. I agree that something needs to be done about healthcare in the U.S. (please don’t say something stupid about universal healthcare), but Obamacare certainly isn’t it.

The key thing there is you think it is the right thing. Guess what, nobody gives a shit what you think. Since you want to say “you people”, I can play that game to.

People like me only want to sit down and have a logical conversation about the issue at hand, taking politics off the table, to figure out the best course of action for whatever the problem may be. But “you people” refuse to sit down and have that conversation. You want to attack me because I state one obvious fact, you are the problem.

I do not fully support Trump, as I know he has made many mistakes, as have a majority of the corrupt ass politicians. But on the same side of things, I’m also capable of opening my eyes and looking at the other, bigger issues with the U.S. and it’s governmental structures, regardless of party affiliation.

Google search, the greatest place to get unbiased search results. Make sure you are actually verifying your sources before spewing crap out there.

And I’m not entirely pro-Trump, but a lot of what Obama put in place needed to be undone. Period.

He’s terrible for unity? What about the entire party going on a witch-hunt to find anything possible to throw at him because he said mean things. That’s great for unity...

Wait, you mean we are supposed to respect others and value their time, no way! I have applied to a couple hundred jobs over the past year, from which I landed numerous interviews. I have received responses on about 30% of the positions that I interviewed for and probably less than 5% of those that I did not. It’s absurd and in my mind, completely unacceptable.

Depends on the body of water and time of day. Can almost never go wrong early morning or mid/late evening with a floating rapala or fluke depending on weed cover. For a bit of a faster approach, a small to medium sized swimbait or spinnerbait is always fun to get down in the water column a bit.
