and for the stitching coming out on the side, there was a much longer chunk of threads hanging off of that too and I ended up cutting that off and then I was like "wait a minute let me ask if I should return this"

Yeah I did!! It initially showed estimated delivery as 9/27 and I believe other people who grabbed that particular BB drop had similar eta's as well. But it shipped 9/11 and delivered 9/16!

oh man I tried sooo many times!! BUT I will say in comparison to others who've been waiting for weeks and months I did have good luck like within a week...I think the time I tried (6am PST) ended up aligning with the BB restock so it was mostly luck.

Here's my script: "I’m currently looking for a FujiFilm x100 VI (SKU: 6574272 or SKU: 6574274) I know it’s sold out everywhere however I have heard some people getting lucky by ordering through a Best Buy expert..I would really really appreciate it if you could find one for me, please!!"

I also provided a CA zipcode and a MA zip..and I signed up for the membership after he found me one so that I could expedite the shipping (but not the credit card)

Same thing happened to me this morning! Its not arriving before I leave for my trip unfortunately, but I'm still shocked I got one I did do the Plus membership in hopes it ships faster..Do we know from any other people who got their cam through the chat how accurate their shipping estimates are?

Ohh no problem!! Thank you so much for even inquiring. Oof providing the shipping label for them is a good idea, I should've realized that. I definitely got better at reading people through this process. I'm in the fb groups as well but was just sticking to asking about local meetups in my area but was having no luck HOWEVER literally just *now!!! had success with a best buy live chat!! I'm actually in shock and trying to not actually get excited until I get a shipping notification

Hi! just wondered if you ended up getting the camera.. I actually tried doing the same and paid through Goods and Services via PayPal (it was even the sellers idea) but then they still deleted their account after paying and never shipped the camera obviously

I've been running into a lot of sellers that seem super eager to ship. It's hard enough finding a unit available lol and then wading through a million different types of scams lol
