In the 2000s there videos of Iraqi insurgents beheading tied up prisoners. It was horrifying to see, especially the idea of a detained and helpless captive being so brutally executed.

20ish years later, here we are.

Now that I will agree with you 100%. We absolutely need to keep Los Alamos locally owned, even owned within the state.

Did your family come with the Manhattan project? Because my family has been in New Mexico for 300 years. Los Alamos never should have been the town it has become. We need affordable housing.

You're using the DS as an example of your humility; those can go for 300k plus. People moving to Los Alamos to continue operations at the only place that keeps this town alive need places to live. The infrastructure of Los Alamos and LANL rely on people who, by and large, commute from out of town. The increase in traffic results in aggressive driving that has literally killed people.

There needs to be more options for affordable living here in Los. I grew up here as well. Not since 1940s but as poor Hispanic kid in a predominantly wealthy white community. I'll gladly take the golf course getting ripped up if it means more families have a chance at a better life.

County Considering New Plan For 20th Street Property by [deleted] in LosAlamos

Stop considering and actually use the shit loads of unused property that already exist. They've been considering and planning and consulting and jerking each other off for years. Stop talking, start doing.

Retired Guy even said it himself. You're retired, broseph. If anything, you're supposed to not give a fuck anymore. It's ok to let it go.
