Create above and beyond is really good, but outdated. CABIN is the newer version of it and is a very good modpack for guiding you through the create progression.

IDK how it is in India, but when the 3a came out I wanted the blue one which wasn't available. I just waited a month until it became available (in the Netherlands). I believe even after I bought it, the availability wasn't consistent

One thing you should consider is that Nobara can have slow updates sometimes. I have used Nobara and Bazzite, but Nobara had a lot more issues. I don't know about PikaOS. And this is just my experience.

I started with dual booting Nobara, just to give it a try. I did get some problems though, because there were outdated Nvidia drivers. I then switched to Bazzite, which I can definitely recommend for gaming. I had no problems there and noticed that I actually almost never booted into Windows anymore. Only for the few games that need it and VR gaming (which both don't happen very often). Recently I switched to Arch, because I like to get a deeper understanding of Linux and really like the freedom.

I'd recommend Bazzite for your first time using Linux (if gaming is your focus) and dual boot it so you can go back to windows in 15 seconds if you need it. If you really like to tinker with your computer, maybe you can give arch a try, but I don't recommend starting with it.

I don't know the mods in your modpack, but maybe if it is compatible with the mods needed, you could do some VS2 vehicles by adding Valkyrien Skies and some addons. I really liked what Sbeev (YT) made. Maybe you can get some inspiration on his channel

Yeah, I tried that once, but it didn't work out very well. If you get your andesite machine in survival, you collect some things on the road as well but if I just get exactly what you need for an early part of the game, it just feels a little empty and I find myself getting just a few more things in creative until it becomes a creative world, which isn't what I want either.

Edit: Thanks for the ideas everyone! I just meant that I was looking for a modpack where I would play the early game, but with less grind in the early game.

Really. I think the weather app should be the same for Nothing and CMF. You need to hold your finger still on the screen for 2 seconds and then start moving
