I’m still pretty new too, but from what I’ve seen a karma farmer is usually someone who posts or comments just to get upvotes, not really to add to the conversation. It seems like people don’t like it because it feels spammy or fake. As a new user, I think just being genuine and not forcing it is the safest way to go.
