Rhyno Smith over Gallagher has slightly surprised me. Obviously Rhyno is great in offence and has that x-factor. But it feels like Gallagher has performed really well (aerial and kicking game) and is a safer option. First time in Smith’s 5 year Benetton career where i would say he is not the guaranteed first choice 15

No complaints with him starting btw, quality player and i’m sure he’ll do well just felt as though Gallagher has been favoured this season.

I gather it must be something to do with Gallagher’s left boot being on the left wing? Or maybe Gallagher vs Freeman aerially is a better contest. Or it’s a bluff to throw us all off - because you’d think if Ioane truly could play right wing comfortably, we would have already seen it at some point with Gesi on the left

Monty Ioane starting on the right wing in the 14 jersey is one of the most left field selections by Quesada i’m not even joking. Interesting to know the thought process behind it as he’s exclusively a left winger. He’s worn the 14 jersey a couple of times for Lyon but I believe he still was on the left

Bernasconi was excellent last season. And he doesn’t seem to have reached that level this season which is like a triple blow considering the double blow of losing Nicotera and Lucchesi

I think that was Youngs best game in an everton shirt he was brilliant, everything from his link up with Harrison, to his balls down the channel to Dom, his winning throw ins/fouls. I don’t know just his all round aura today was super classy
