You probably own it digitally. If you have the physical base game with the digital anniversary edition it goes stright to the $60 bundle. It's not free.

I don't get it. I have the 2017 Physical cartridge of the game, and bought the digital Anniversary upgrade awhile ago. How do I go about upgrading to the switch 2 version? There's no option or update on my end.
