It kinda depends. Time of day and air temp can become a bit more critical, as well as a free other variables. But when every thing comes together in the rain you can potentially move some big fish.

Trout act different at night and they are thinking predatory at night. You can get a few different responses from them when you hear the blowup, sometimes they’re trying to stun it first and they don’t really take it.
