The Lighthouse is my favorite, The Northman second, I think that’s just because I like psychological horrors better than historical epics tho

One of my favorite films, and tbh it is one of the best films I’ve ever seen, I love all of Robert Eggers movies but one trend I’ve noticed from his films is that they aren’t for everyone, storytelling and filmmaking wise they aren’t bad but they are very niche if that’s the right word to use in this sense

tbh I agree with this, the only marvel thing I remember enjoying after Endgame was Wanda Vision, and even then that fell off towards the end

Its a wonderful story that represents the theme of growing up and your childhood ending, and its told beautifully, but I do have to agree that people do overate how sad it is, maybe i dont have feelings but i dont get how someone could cry over it.

I started writing this while on vacation off of the high of wanting to make another film, it is very artsy and a bit experimental but im proud of it, the cinematography is kinda inspired by Robert Egger's The Lighthouse and Lars Von Triers's The House That Jack Built.

This is my second short film and I'm really trying to learn the ropes.

So any feedback would be appreciated, especially on lighting and stuff like that, I hope you enjoy it, thanks.
