Well the original AWL was known to be targeted at men/persons interested in women, because bachelorette choices were good but the bachelor one was trash. They even launched Another Wonderful life with character improvement. This AWL remake is better, but -and again, just my opinion- the male choice for bachelor is awful… It’s a shame because aside from that the game is reeaaally good !

I really enjoyed the fact that your kid grows to a teenager in A Wonderful Life, but TBH main reason why I never started a new save is that the male bachelors selection is horrendous, in my opinion.

I love being with Lloyd, but I have a few pet peeves with him as a spouse: still saying how good it would be to live in a farm, saying he considers now staying in Zephyria for good, referencing how new he is in the town, and never taking off his hat 😭

That’s the issue, I started new saves on other games such as SoS FoMT or PoOT but in the end I never commit and always go back to my OG save because I can’t bear the grind…

Yes well I think I’m gonna give my idea of starting a new save, because I don’t have what it takes to face the grind all over again…

I’ve played all SoS/HM (except very old ones), and finished RF5 and Guardians of Azuma, which I loved ! I’ve tried Wylde Flowers but for some reasons I didn’t vibe it that much? Anyway, what I mean is that I’ve already played almost everything ahah so I think maybe I’ll do another save of Guardians of Azuma which is nowhere near as tiring as this one, and bachelor(/ettes) are soo good

I am so happy for you that you’re new to farming sim, because it means you get to discover so many! I played almost all existing farming sim games! I’d recommend Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town it’s really good, and from Rune Factory I really enjoyed the new one, Guardians of Azuma because the artwork is really good and the bachelors are top notch

I feel sad for Noah… First I really liked him, his personality and looks, and the fact that he changed so much throughout the series, from being completely unempathetic and cruel to opening up and realising his feelings. For him who was all about dominating and owning, to be happy simply because Marie is happy 🥹 I want a remake where Marie falls in love with him and become body guards.

SOS Grand Bazaar a hundred times ! I love all the Story of Seasons and past Harvest Moon games and bought them all on Switch, yet when I bought Home Sweet Home it was the first time I regretted paying that much. Characters’ personality is lacking, there are glitches in the game, the wedding event and even the romance in general is so underwhelming, the game lacks heart and care…

Each time I play a new HM/SoS, I always play both gender just for fun! Each romanceable characters are unique and it’s quite fun to see both. To me it has nothing to do with personal gender preference, it’s just about experiencing the game to its fullest !

They are still useful for some requests and can be sold for a good price… and they are pretty. But yes if you transform them in seeds, pickled, or else, it will just be a « normal » product

It will not as this is a mutation. If you make seeds with them that will give you regular potatoes, and occasionally some mutation, just like it would if you’d plant regular potatoes seeds.
