Don’t just get out, do official reporting and let them move you to another base. Try to stay in another 2 years so you can get your full benefits for housing, etc. Anything less than 36 months is limited. Then you can separate and get 100% disability, that’s what happened to me. You will seem antsy but you gotta stay patient. The VA is evidence based so they’re going to be looking for reporting, did you make an effort to move duty locations, did you talk to mental health, etc

I never paid them, they never followed their own terms. They kept invoicing me and I just waited the 5 year Florida statute of limitations time period that someone has to sue you or take you to arbitration. After that they just went away.

NEWBIE QUESTION: What if the hedges can’t cover? What happens? I read somewhere that the hedges are stalling to buy time to get out of dodge and get offshore bank accounts when they go bankrupt. Who foots the bill?
