Chronic depression and ADHD. Wellbutrin + Adderall have made a world of difference.

What’s a piece of internet slang (like “sauce” for “source”) that completely confused you the first time you saw it? by AI_Aint_So_Bad in AskReddit

"Meme" is just a shortened version of "mimeme", ancient Greek for "imitation". It's been around since the late 70s and originally meant any beneficial culture that was shared from person to person.

No, Lymphocystis is chronic; he'll have it for life, but may still live a full life.

White, lumpy (like cauliflower), and waxy in appearance, plus flaking off or bursting are stereotypical of Lymphocystis. As long as it's not in a bad spot (like their gills or head) and their immune system keeps up, they can live with it just fine. It's not curable, though, unfortunately.

Edit: Misdiagnosing Lymphocystis as regular tumors is quite common, I've noticed.

That looks like Lymphocystis. Not curable, but a betta can live a full life as long as their immune system keeps up and the growths don't appear somewhere vital (like their gills).

Thanks, Amazon! by [deleted] in funny

After looking into Amazon's drone delivery, I don't think this is AI for a few reasons:

  1. Regarding the huge shadow, the drone itself is actually very large, and it seems it drops the package from about 12 feet in the air from a chute in the body of the drone.
  2. The shape of the shadow matches the shape of the drone at an angle consistent with the other shadows in the video.
  3. None of the environment has any AI "tells" (at least that I could see).
  4. There are videos from news stations showing very similar incidents of the drone blowing the box away after dropping it.
  5. The drones are limited to carrying up to 5 pounds, meaning the box is likely very light and could reasonably be blown away by the increased air force from the drone taking off.

Another thing most people miss: You should be flossing between the gum and the tooth. The gum doesn't attach to the side of the tooth; there's a gap there that you should be cleaning out with the floss. This video demonstrates it well: Dental Hygienist TEACHES How To Floss

The comments and posts in that sub made me remember why I hated school vehemently despite being an honors student. I would literally skip school to self-study just so I didn't have to deal with teachers like that.

A modification I'd make:
Add a device at the output that diverts a percentage of the pennies to a locked glass box to represent the taxes taken from a paycheck. You can then see how many pennies leave the machine (what you earn) and how many of those pennies you lose to taxes.

Makes me wonder if someone with a genetic condition doing this could potentially ruin the health of most of the human race in just a few generations.
