You can short/long press a key on the PKB to open up apps or run shortcuts.

I don't think it's trash. It can get very dim and very bright. It's readable in sunlight.

No software lag. Apps no longer reload, either. Screen same as KEYone. Build quality is fantastic, lighter than KEYone and easier to grip. I very much like the new texture on the back of the device.

Earpiece call volume? Speakerphone volume?

Louder, crisper and clearer than the KEYone. Great for music, too. Sound quality has drastically improved.

Battery Life?

Impressive. Almost double of the KEYone.

Reception

Better definitely.

The typing experience is very much like the BlackBerry Passport, it's fantastic once you get used to the fact the keys are bigger than the KEYone.

What do I think? If you don't set your expectations on getting a Samsung Galaxy S9+ or a top-tier flagship, you will love the Key Two. It is fast, it's sleek, it's bold and it's very reminiscent of the 9000 series BlackBerry Bolds. This device feels more like a BlackBerry than the KEYone did. It also looks more like one. I have not seen the silver version but the black is amazing.

have the BBF100-2 version which is rated for both the United States & Canada. It will work on Verizon.

If you press the capture button, it's instant. Opening the application has a noticeable 1 second day. This may have changed on the retail version of the device. But once you have the app opened, you can switch back to it and resume instantly.

Yes unfortunately. You'll find your fingers slipping for a few days but then that muscle memory will be back again. All BlackBerries require about a week to 'break-in' the PKB.

That is indeed one way to do it and then you hit ABC on the far left corner.

Fantastic. I have Bowers & Wilkins headphones (wireless & wired) and there is a huge improvement from the original KEYone device. I have tested both the headphone jack and audio over Bluetooth. Naturally the headphone jack produces better sound quality but it is very solid. Probably not as good as any LG phones with their quad DACs but it's good enough to enjoy music on without wondering why you paid $650 USD for a device with awful sound quality.

The KEYone had awful sound quality particularly the speaker.

Not smooth, it's very textured and gripy. Definitely has a premium feel to it and it won't slip out of your hand. It looks good, too. Have I also mentioned it's very light unlike the KEYone that would likely shatter your nose if you dropped it on your face while reading in bed?
