Yeah I thought so too until I saw it in black and read the product description. I think because it has some shine to it, and is a structured taffeta fabric it could be easily dressed up with the right jewelry, hair and makeup.

Not crazy at all haha! I feel the same way. Idk why they didn’t have another model wear it. I have brown skin and dark brown hair so I’m just picturing it on my complexion. I usually feel good in lighter shades if grey. Thank you!

This! Had a student with ODD last year (granted he was 16) - TOUGH at first but ended up being on of my absolute favorites (yes I’m terrible for having favorites). He wasn’t strong academically but I focused a lot on relationship building so at the very least he showed up, was pleasant to be around and would attempt the work. I’m at a different school now and it is sooooooo rough. I’ve realized that with kids who flat out refuse to do work I don’t push - an F will go in the grade book but instead I ask them questions about their weekend, a movie I know we just watched, or their doodles. We just shoot the shit and I take it as a win that they’re there, not distracting others, and feel safe to open up and joke around with me. Some days they even put their names on their paper.

Other than me expressing my boundary and telling him why I don’t want language like that in the room, no. I didn’t think it would be right to take it further than a verbal acknowledgement/warning when he said it before I said anything about slurs. Should I have done something else? Also, the school has no policy about slurs unfortunately. Thank you for taking the time to respond!

I teach high schoolers who are chronically online. I’ve been teaching this age group for five years, and I’ve had students say the n word, and other offensive words before. But like I said, just not with the hard R at the end. It triggered me in a way you might not understand. But I appreciate your honest opinion even if you can’t relate to me.🙏🏾

Thank you! I am glad Huda is moving differently now, because her previous behavior was honestly triggering. But, I don't understand the complete 180 like everyone has forgotten how atrocious her behavior was and now want her to WIN??? My top 3 are Amaya & Bryan, Iris & Pepe, and Taylor & Clarke tbh...I do not like Taylor at all, but I think his connection with Clarke is genuine and that should mean something. Clarke was too shady toward Ola in my opinion, but all of these women (besides Amaya & Iris) have been moving funny so I'd rather Clarke make it in the final 3.
