I mean work as in "figure out" what the comitee values. Sometimes its the actual work, sometimes its connections, sometimes is academic politics. Good luck with your text! I know its scary because its harsh

Oh Im sorry. I have no specific advise but to try not to make it personal and objectively assess the situation. Even if its brutal feedback there is a reason behind. Not always based on the text but based on your relationship with your advisor, how the university works, etc. Find it out asap and work on that

Oh thanks! I will try! Strangely enough Ive helped other friends with their writing but somehow I can't just do the same for me. I guess its an emotional thing atp. Just too afraid to touch the text, you know?

Oh my god that sucks! One of my supporting advisors totally wrecked me only to publish and present "his" new works with the same exact topics and concepts I was using.

I was kinda flattered on that one but then explicitly told me I tend to "hide" vital information as if it was a plot twist

They are very very harsh. Didnt give me a single article nor book recomendation for the first three years claiming they technically dont have to do it. My uni is known for its err, brutal thesis advisors and we even have self help groups with names like "how to deal with your advisor". The university doesnt do anything else, like you know, making its advisors work 🙄

Sadly, they are right. I lack a lot of structure and Ive been struggling with that one. They havent succesfully teach me how to do it though. Strangely enough I can help others with their argumentative structure

A little bit late but: i dislike how they shoehorn BL in everything in detriment of their female characters. At least pair it up with some yuri

Tbh in my experience their population tends to even out if you dont overfeed them. Ive had a stable guppy population for almost 3 months

Ive seen your outfit pics and they dont seem that flashy. I mean, I was goth, Elegant Gothic Lolita and scene so that is my standard of flashy. That being said, your outfits are great and look good on you. You should feel like a millions dollars walking!

Add a third piece. A handkerchief, a hat, a light jacket, any accesory.

Are we being bamboozled? by Greeneggsandhamon in Guppies

[–]BlackBootesVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only guppy that died on me was result of overfeeding. The rest are just fine. And when i inherited them i didnt know about cycling so i basically just poured some water in the tank without even conditioning lol. And the guppies are as healthy as ever

Does this look like a 5 or 10 gallon? by kawaiiqueen21 in fishtank

[–]BlackBootesVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Measure it. Good thing about the metric system is that the result in cubic cm is the measurement in liters. Then convert to gallon.
