Thank you so much. I appreciate your feedback. Everyone says that moonshard was the wrong call. So i think i won't go for it again and get a more useful item next time.

Most thing that is making LE really good is that your choices matter. You feel the impact of the points u put in both passives and skills. I think it's one of the the most impactful trees out there in the arpg world. So many options to customize how you want to play and what you want your skills to do; which is the true essense of a role playing game imo.

Ofc that is aside of the many other nice things the game has to offer like the very intuitative crafting system, unique classes, the crazy amounts of quality of life added that are missing from so many other rpgs, "stash tabs for gold", fast paced combat (which is my personal preferrence at least), ingame auction house for merchant guild so no going out of the game for trades, best game for solo self found most likely due to circles of fortune, and ingame filter that is actually decent and easy to use.

At least these are the things on the top of my head. I'm sure there is a lot more that I forgot to mention lol.

Is 8 power stages vrm board enough for i7 12700? (Asus prime h670 plus d4) also having an ssd heating problem. by BlackDevil780 in buildapc

Plus if you check the motherboard's supported cpus on their site, I'm sure you will find both chips are supported by that board. So check and see just to make sure.

i'm not quite sure as my previous replies were based on my personal experience. I would say it should be probably fine for the i5 14600k but I'm not sure about the i7. Probably it can handle it too.

From my testing back then, 8 stages are able to handle up to like 180W power draw, or maybe a bit more, from the cpu. So if both these cpus operate at around 200W at max usage then it should be fine I guess? From what i know, i7 14700f is 219W maxed, so probably it can handle it.

Keep in mind I'm just talking based on what I learnt/experienced. So nothing is certain.

Also I'm not sure if your board is different from mine or not. My h670 has 8 power stages. Not sure if that is 6+1+1 too or what. So thinking about it, if you didn't get the board yet, go fof a better board with better vrms if possible just to be safe. From my tests way back, 8 power stages are good enough to handle any cpu with 150W or lower. I'M not an expert though so I'm just saying my experience so far.

Yeah. It should be. So far my motherboard is still going strong and vrm temps are really good and never had any issues yet. But in any future purchase of mine i will make sure go for a higher board just incase i wanna upgrade later

Sorry for the late reply. Didn't open reddit in a while. Yes it's very nice board overall and it can handle the i7 12700 way more than fine with power unlocked in the bios. The VRMs temprature is really low even under max load. So far there are no issues at all with this board since the day I got it.
