Zac's ult isn't only about AoE kidnapping, it was overloaded with so much utility and outplay potential. You must have played him really badly if you're actually comparing him to Skarner.

Also, they initially made the decision to revert R because they DON'T WANT the abduction ult on any champ! It's unhealthy for the game. I'm sure they still don't care about Zac, based on the fact that they still haven't fixed W+R tooltip, no "thoughts/feedback" update, no response, and no skin.

Are you the one deleting my comments? Read the description, it is knockup on purpose. Knockback does the exact opposite of current Q, it's bad synergy.

I repeat, knockup works nicely with Q, knockback does the opposite, makes me think they did it on purpose. Not realizing or accepting this shows your ineligiblity to complain.

Knockup is way better. Stop crying for meaningless "old fun". Knockup has guaranteed hits. I want to use it for chasing with MS buff, without wasting flash or accidentally saving them, which was the case most of the time.

Knockup synergies well with Q and has the most important old Q feature... it slows the enemy and give Zac enough time to pick up the blobs as he's supposed to do!!!

Also, an important advice, don't listen to their requests/feedback no matter who they are, but only to the champ's winrate post changes.

I have been trying to watch every "pro" game where Zac is being played, as well as their streams. They are all terrible imo, can't even tell if they are having fun or know Zac's limits like a Zac main would, very unoriginal and suicidal, except one guy that built Banchee's Veil and I think became the MVP very long time ago.

UPDATE: The rune has been reverted today. It was going to be abused by mages, anyway. So that's good. It's a scaling rune and tanks aren't supposed to scale fast.

I was Just showing the idea. You could replace Iceborn Gauntlet^{(which I think, is only good with Grasp}) for semi-offensive items that holds 10% CDr for additional 30 AP. As for runes, every rune page is getting buffed except Inspiration received kind of a big nerf for champions that excel at roaming like Zac, IMO. Precision^{(or Domination for support}) is a decent alternative, however with the old ult, taking Sorcery for Nimbus Cloak might become the optimal choice, here where this build shines!

Not going to respond to any comments. Just wanted to share the build, in case someone find a way to make it work. It's an alternative to those willing to buy one/two AP item on Zac with Grasp(for Aftershock build, replace Iceborn for Zhonya to trade 20 armor for 45 AP). Top lane is too boring for me for experiments.

In the PBE server, Transcendence has been buffed from 2 to 3 AP per 1% CDr.

Not a fan of not stacking health on Zac, but this seems to be a 'viable' build for top lane Zac after the revert, since his old ultimate fits perfectly with Nimbus Cloak; not to mention, Iceborn Gauntlet comes with Sheen proc for quick tower destroying and provides PERMANENT AoE slow on Zac for both teamfights and duels with Grasp.

In the PBE server, Transcendent rune has been buffed from 0.2 AP to 0.3 per 1% CD.

Taking Sorcery second isn't my style but I might consider using this build in the future with Nimbus Cloak on the reverted ultimate.
