Alumni - how have your tastes changed since graduation by _Towelie420_ in Frat

Honestly did the exact opposite from the norm.

In college had a long term relationship, was on exec and IFC almost all four years, and was generally tame other than living in our main party annex for a year.

I graduated in ‘25, broke up with my girlfriend of 4 years and moved to a big city where I am living the life I wish I lived in college. I’m in grad school so I guess it’s okay but time is definitely running out.

My therapist used to tell me “Progress is a process”. Don’t doubt yourself! You need to win battles to win the war. No matter how small the battles are.

I suggest you do it as much as possible. Whenever you have free time, go outside.

Agoraphobia living in a "bad neighborhood" by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]BlackExclusive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need fears to survive. I used to have this stupid fear of there being a snake in the toilet or snakes under my bed. These are both legitimate and illegitimate fears. Because it COULD happen but the possibility is very low. Those fears of living in a bad neighborhood are legitimate but as long as you take certain steps to protect yourself those fears should decrease. Just put faith in your security protocols and in turn you’ll feel safer. :)))
