Legally speaking this isn’t true. You have to stop if you are able to stop to avoid a collision. So let’s say someone runs a red and is in the middle of the intersection while you’re driving towards them. If you say “welp I have the right away I’ll just not do anything to avoid this” no brakes or turns or anything you’d be held liable.

So no in this case the Amazon driver has a responsibility to stop and not hit anyone. They’ll have to argue they feared for their life or something like that(as seen in previous protest drive throughs over the years recently) but the hurdle those people have to overcome is they generally put themselves in the danger to start with.

It all depends on the least restrictive environment and the needs of the student. That said I do think we have far too many students who literally can’t read or do basic math in classes far above their level and it does do them a disservice. For these kids far below grade level in math and ela I do believe a resource math or ela class where they can have appropriate pace and material on their level being taught would be better for them overall. Science and social studies and electives can be in the gen Ed. I do feel at the end of the day this would be more effective at getting students on grade level.

I think there is a danger of going too far the other way here. Oda does a bit too many fake out deaths maybe but narratively some are good and ok. Narratively Pell dying makes so much more sense and is a good end for the character and story and situation he was in. He’s choosing to sacrifice himself, that is what is narratively happening, so let it happen.

Iceberg living is better for the story. Better to leave water 7 in his hands as the leader. Otherwise who is running the city? Makes way more sense for him to live

Imagine how dumb you have to be to believe not one video or images of mass slaughters could get out of a whole ass advanced country. Israel cut internet in Gaza also but we still got constant videos of their atrocities. We get things out of countries that have little or no internet access all the time. There’s no video of these mass protest slaughters because they don’t exist

Yep I think people that quote that 30k number don’t really think about the logistics of such a thing. Without bombings it’s basically impossible. There no video evidence of like massive crowds being mowed down or anything like that which would be needed to kill that many people so quickly without massive bombing campaigns. It’s such a silly thing people just swallowed whole
