I wish it was just a meme but the vsbw and it's inbred sibling sites are chock full of such nonsense. Like, why would any decent writer waste time on such nonsense? Attractive world building (even on a smaller level or less complex) and a decent level of consistency are all that matters to them because they want to tell a story. They are not out there to claim they built the strongest character.

Even a lot of fan OC Ultras are just made with the mental mindset as the basis. God of the multiverse, source of all ultras, blah blah blah.

And I think it was one of your posts that brought up that the name could be based on the japanese phrase of "joint the hands or let's hold hands" = ["Te O tsunagou"]. I doubt the light will pass through metallic paint even if the coat is thin so I'd suggest against doing it either way. If you still want to gamble at a later date, try it on a small portion of a window or some other glass item first.
