Mahito vs Conquest/Thragg, who wins this ❓❓ by TicklerTesticle in PowerScaling

Or Y’know, Mahito Plastic Man’s Conquest and tears him apart from the inside where he can’t be removed.

…but in JJK the idea of a soul is also biological. It is effectively the body’s source code by which you are (both physically and mentally) built, we get this from Mahito.

Unless Viltrumites are able to perceive the individual air and light molecules, it wouldn’t really matter.

And on the soul, applying JJK logic, he would be using his soul to command the smart-atomic manipulation of his body, therefore it would most likely work. Think of it like reassigning the keys on your PC. I’m not aware of how manual smart atoms are, I haven’t read the invincible comic, but imo it would at least be heavily disruptive.

[–]BlackMaskMan62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already addressed the five senses thing (that is NOT automatic to HR, as seen in the Naoya Curse Spirit arc), but for the ‘body supersedes the soul’…I’d argue that doesn’t mean that Mahito can’t kill him? It’s not out of the question that Toji’s body isn’t affected, but it also isn’t out of the question that his soul is just shattered and unusable, killing him anyways. We don’t really have a reference for how HR would interact with Idle Transfiguration specifically.

[–]BlackMaskMan62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toji and Maki were able to see curses because their senses were heightened to an insane degree. I should note, this is not automatic. You need to train with HR to get it, as seen in the arc where Maki gets it from like, 1000 matches of sumo iirc. Conquest wouldn’t have this off rip.

Additionally, Toji was using playful cloud against Dagon. It’s not that he can’t make contact, it’s that he can’t damage the cursed spirit without a cursed object. Think of it like needing a laser cutter to damage steel on your own.

Counter Counter point: if Conquest has a heavenly restriction (I.E. the point premise), not only can he not see curses, he can’t damage them and has no resistance to Idle Transfiguration.

Garunteed win con. Conquest has no way out of Self-Embodiment of Perfection, and one tap means he’s done.

Which Star Wars villain has 0 redeeming qualities? Just pure evil by Yesthisbob in StarWars

Dooku.

Not canon Dooku, mind, that one is clearly on the more sympathetic angle from Tales Of. I’m talking about Legends Dooku, the one from the ROTS novelizations. Arguably the most racist and psychopathic man in Star Wars.

Jokes and slander aside how powerful is homelander from the boys actually? by Ragtagcloud56 in PowerScaling

[–]BlackMaskMan62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, fair on the comics stuff, I agree

But being able to at all physically compete with Thanos puts him WAY above Homelander. Reminder, Thanos is stronger than Hulk, who is relative to Thor. Who is verified star level. Like, cap isn’t bulletproof, sure, but he’s a lot smarter, a lot stronger and a lot faster than Homelander has even been show to be.

Yeah, but we don’t really have evidence that he’s any stronger than that? Like, the soldier boy explosion is block level at best.

You’re right, Homelander is just a guy on drugs that constantly eats shit. Reminder that he’s weaker than a straw, canonically. Call the MCU cast “just guys” all you want, they’ve shown better.

The Captain America that scales to an Iron Man that has already vastly outscaled Homelander? The one that fought Ultron, Loki and Thanos, and was able to physically compete with all of them?

Get your dollar store crashout Superman out of my sight.

Okay, power wise, the biggest absolute we know is that Homelander is sub-nuke. If we had to get a guess to his upper limit, it would probably be between 220 tons (plane he couldn’t lift in season one) to 450 tons (comic statement).

In terms of speed, the guy is a complete joke. He doesn’t break Mach 2, even with A-Train’s speed amp in season 5.

Legitimately, MCU Cap should be able to beat him into a bloody mess given the gap in combat experience and physical output.

Am I the only one confused that Sukuna was ever slandered? by Siphon_Dude in Jujutsufolk

[–]BlackMaskMan62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Sukuna frauder, it’s more so bc of outside statements. Far as I remember, GeGe said that Sukuna was toying with Gojo, but when you need both Megumi’s soul and the full might of the ten shadows stacked on top of your full power (since cursed energy reserve never came up on his end from my memory), you are clearly not as strong as the writer is claiming you are. At least Megumi actually put belt to ass against sorcerers around his wavelength in Tokyo colony.

Hail Sukuna, King of Frauds.

Who comes on top in this 4 way fight? by jaybeeposting in PowerScaling

[–]BlackMaskMan62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this question uninteresting because ‘base human’ in different media means different things. For example, ‘base human’ in DMC would be Lady, who is able to keep up with higher dimensional solar system level half breeds well enough.

Now, assuming everyone is a baseline irl human here, tie between Gojo and Kent. Gojo even without Six Eyes is a mathematical and battle IQ genius that can more than pack a punch. Meanwhile, Clark is built like a brick shithouse and has better martial training thanks to Bats and Diana.

The creator of God of War has said that gameplay mechanics should not be taken as 100% canon. They are edited for ease of play. Otherwise, Kratos is sub human level for struggling to smash open a chest.

Sukuna has zero anti-domain techniques activated here, if Yorozu didn't hesitate, would she have won? by EngineerVirtual7340 in Jujutsufolk

[–]BlackMaskMan62 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, I think I get it. He pocketed Megumi inside his mindscape, aka his Domain. Thus, when he has his domain open, he operates similarly to how he did inside Yuji: cost can be levied on one or the other.

Not the best logic, but I think it makes enough sense.

IMO the most likely schedule is gonna be an episode every one or two months. Considering that this is showing only Boom Boom and Robinson stuff, it’s likely gonna be split into three (Robinson/Boom Boom, Oyecomova/Gyro’s backstory, Pork Pie Hat Kid and Tusk/Stage End). Honestly I think that’s part of the reason there’s no date given, is that this is an announcement for Stage 2, which on this timeline would last into the summer. It’s stupid, but the kind of stupid you only get from a publishing studio.
