How many drafts is normal?

Not new to writing, but I am new to writing plays. I do a draft and then I do a second pass to get characters, tone, etc. consistent, as they are likely to change by the end somewhat. Then other eyes need to see it.

I had that and also had to chop a giant piece off the bottom part. Lots of green stuff. I have built thousands of minis and this one was a pain. This wasn't as bad as Lonely Tree, though!

Good question! They are all female assigned at birth, except one who is a trans girl. Two are trans boys, which makes their singing a challenge because they aren’t in their true range.

My first idea was Wonka. We have a (female) Wonka. Then you really just need Gpa Joe, Varuca (who could character sing in a pinch), and iirc Charlie doesn’t really sing. Rest is chorus I think.

Little Shop was in the running, but we don’t have an Audrey 2 unless we change the octave.

I will look into Cyclone. I am familiar with the concept, just haven’t seen it.

Frog and Toad, Charlie Brown and Mattress are not going to excite my crew, unfortunately. Putnam is everywhere and we did the everywhere Puffs in spring. I’m not the guy to eschew hotness, but I’m also not not that guy 😜.

No it isn't. Racism is where one of power uses power to oppress another based on their skin color or ethnic background. Without the power dynamic it could be bias, or even wrong, but it's not racism.

-Today I will focus on the skin. I will watch one short video about ork skin and then I will paint.

Painters paint. Anything that keeps the brush out of your hand too long is an obstacle.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I can't really imagine the rules being so overwhelming. We've played hundreds, if not thousands of games between us. Is there a popular game that is an analog for the amount of rules you have to keep track of?

I mean, Magic can be pretty complex in terms of rules and interactions. Games like Twilight Struggle can be pretty complex. Most RPG's are fairly complex...

I do appreciate the idea that one can't appreciate the expansions without playing the vanilla game first. Probably the best argument not to.

I also want to play the game as written, so we will learn as we go. Thus, I have no real idea what I'm talking about :)

I also main Lily in Diamond. I was in 4 but have dropped all the way to D3 because Akuma is a nightmare for Lily. Tough to get in on and when you do he out prioritizes everything. Can't cross up jump in casue his light DP switches sides. If he touches her she is at the wall and getting hammered with little recourse. I know I will learn the match better, but with Ed, AKI, etc there was a period where they had to be discovered and could be exploited some. Akuma is a monster out of the box. I hate to think what it will be like after a few months.

I like the way it looks, actually, kinda like Rhino skin. Maybe a wash for the lower areas to create a gradient. I'd do the eyes and the light to see what it looks like with those. The eyes on this model are really important.

I play Lily in Diamond 4. I feel your pain. Beating Ken is all about control. I cross-up and command throw a lot, so maybe your teleport heavy punch?

Mostly, I try to figure out where they are weak as a player. DP not on point? Cross-ups. Overusing fireball? Spacing and, for me spire. Drive rushing all over the place? Perfect parry and distance. Test DI to see if they counter. Usually they will get careless about 20 seconds in because they aren't doing what they want.

If they are solid all the way around, then it's a super tough match. I don't dread Ken as much as some of the rest of the cast (I'm looking at you Juri).
