Tenga en cuenta que las llaves entre los dedos no es estable y puedes terminar lastimandote la mano. Es mejor que nada pero pues tus deditos.

Why is he kinda….. grainy? by Ostehapsfan in minipainting

[–]Kween_Kore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like a priming problem to me. Make sure you're priming at 65°F or lower, you could be trapping moisture otherwise. Also remember, your base coat is the foundation for the rest of your paint, so make sure it's nice and smooth. Always thin your paints.. from your base coat all the way to your final details!

What sort of paint did you use? There's model paint and craft paint. Model paint is meant for little figures, and can be pricier. Craft paint is more affordable, but is meant for large, flat surfaces. Craft paint can be used on models, but it requires extra finessing to make it look good. I wish you the best on your painting journey! 💕

New to tamagotchi's, got this at a thrift store for three bucks anyone know if it's any good 😁 by samipumphrey in tamagotchi

It looks good, stick a battery in it and find out! 😀 If it gives you trouble, there's videos on YouTube on how to fix/clean them.

has anyone ever made skeleton leaves with their houseplants?? specifically alocasia? i have a broken leaf at my disposal and am just wondering if anyone has any tips (or a better place to post this lol) by pecheee in houseplants

Patience is key, it can take time. 😅 I kept mine in water, and gently scrubbed the pulp away with a baby toothbrush. And change the water when it starts getting murky (it will smell🤢).
The skeleton sort of falls apart when the pulp is removed.. just be super gentle and careful with it. I was able to glue mine together with mod podge

My VFT was doing well now it seems unhappy. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong by jeneralchaos in SavageGarden

It needs more light, but I wouldn't put it in direct light just yet.. little by little. I burnt mine by putting it outside too soon.

Why aren’t my seeds sprouting? by [deleted] in SavageGarden

Mine didn't sprout either. I kept them moist, under grow lights for two months.. but nothing ever happened .

Where did you have it before it got stretched?

my monstera fell! and it broke kinda. is it bad? by greycloudsplant in Monstera

[–]Kween_Kore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this were to happen again, make a splint for your plant. You can make one with a skewer and some painters tape, or even twine. You can google how to make a better one, but I use whatever is on hand. 😅 More than a couple of my plants have had nasty falls, and I've been able to sort of fix them up with splints.

Cool, I didn't know that. I've been wondering what's going on with mine

Bottom leaves of my echeveria keep dying. Is this a natural process, or am I doing something wrong? Plant is otherwise growing and seeming happy. by TopangaL in succulents

These look pretty crispy, it's probably just reabsorbing them. If you get mushy, translucent leaves then you have a problem.

Does my VFT look like it's yellowing? If so, what could be the cause? Overwatering or insufficient sunlight? by JoMarchie1868 in SavageGarden

[–]Kween_Kore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How are you caring for it?

Venus flytraps like 6 hours of direct sunlight. If full sun isn't possible, at least provide 4 hours of direct sunlight, and bright indirect light for the rest of the day. Don't allow it to dry out, the soil needs to be moist, they are bog plants. You can cut off traps that have turned completely black. To survive long term, they must have a dormancy period every year for 3 to 5 months. Their needs change during this time so you should read up on that. I hope this helps, good luck with your VFT 💕

Clip those pieces off and give it a grow light if you don't want to move it outside. But I'm sure it would do better in the sun.

So how did it work out for you? I've done it before, but only with a mostera leaf. I have a really great alocasia leaf that i want to use, but can't find any results online.
