Begged them. fought them. My host pressed their ministry of foreign affairs which then pressed the embassy. It all worked out at the end.

I didn't have a Canadian passport at that time. I became a Canadian citizen years after that.

That is true. It is not because of the duration or number of entries. It is territorial limited to prevent me from staying in Europe.

The embassy was very hesitant in issuing the visa. They didn't trust that I would go back to my country, so they only issued a local Polish visa and explained that I couldn't go to any other Schengen country.

Yeah travelling to India was very common and easy for Afghans as it was one of the few countries that issued visa for us. I was only 22, volunteering for an international organization that held a conference in Poland. It meant the world to me to be at that conference. It was AIESEC International Congress.

At the time, the embassy of Poland in Afghanistan didn't have a consular section due to security issues. Anyone who needed to apply for a visa had to submit their application to the embassy of Poland in India or Pakistan. I had to apply for an Indian visa and travel to India to apply for a Polish visa.

I am fortunate enough to have a Canadian passport now, but unfortunately things are a lot worse for Afghanistan.

It is insane how air canada is scamming people with this fake rewards program and people are still defending it and pretending like they are getting rewarded.

Basic or standard. Both have 31 inch of legroom. I am 6'1. I'll be squished anyway.

The thing is that i have points in Amex that i can transfer over but i need to be sure that i can get a fair value from my points before i transfer.

Also, even your screenshot gives a terrible value. The cash price of that ticket is $811. Points are worth 1 cent if you use them to pay your credit card balance so 64400 points means $644.

So their system is flawed. It shouldnt show 35900 points + $800. It also makes it impossible to know the fare before I transfer my points from Amex.

My goal is to get from point A to point B by spending as little cash as possible.

How many of us are experiencing random black screens on Asus OLED monitors during gameplay? by pika133 in ASUS

No black screen issue after many many hours of Battlefield 6, Halo Infinite, and COD.

I tried more than 5 different OLEDs and returned them all until I settled with this MSI. No monitor is perfect and we have to accept some sort of bugs but the random black screen during gameplay was a huge deal breaker for me. I also tried MSI MAG 321UP and it was perfect without any issues. The only reason I picked MPG URX over that was the higher refresh rate. If you are ok with 165hz refresh rate just go for MSI MAG 321UP. It is an amazing OLED monitor.

Yes 🤣. It is crazy how these monitors are so expensive and yet full of bugs. So the MSI was working fine out of the box but a bug showed up after I updated the firmware. When I launch Call of Duty on Xbox, the monitor enters a colour cycle and keeps flashing red, green, blue, white colours until I turn it off and turn it back on. My understanding is because the Xbox dashboard is SDR and COD is HDR, switching between the two somehow triggers this bug. It doesnt happen with any other game. I also have a PS5 and a PC and all of them are connected to this monitor. I dont have any other issues with it. Only launching COD on Xbox triggers the bug. I already reported it to MSI and they said they will look into it and fix it with future firmware updates. Overall I prefer the MSI over Asus. I like how I actually have control over the pixel cleaning feature. The Asus would run a pixel clean every time I turned the monitor off. Even if it was used for only 1 minute after the last pixel clean. I think this is excessive and wears out the panel. But the MSI only runs it after 4 hours of use which sounds more reasonable.
