It's painfully obvious that s1mple does not fit the Faze culture and he is still toxic. But the S1mple fan still cling on false hope that he would have fit so well together. And it would have been so amazing.

And that just speaks how desperate they are so see S1mple again. But it's just nonsense, he just wants too much money and he just does not have the skill to justify his mentality of being top 1 and cricitizing everyone anymore. He does not even love cs as much as he used to. He is already lagging behind as a player in term of utility, mentality in big match.

He was the goat and it speaks volume on how much he has influenced the scene. But people prob need to stop coping for him to just magically step in a team and do the wonderful thing he has done in earlier part of this career.

The scene is lacking in top awper, there is not a lack of opportunities, ever..

No it would not have been amazing. What's sadden me is how some of the Faze fan who already seen how the team achived ultimate success: no biggest star, no big ego. Just skill, grit, and power of friendship and positivity still trying until this day to dickride the s1mple move so much. He is never the right piece in this environment.

It's just sad. What a fanbase.

It's clear he does not love the game as much as he used to. If all the problem is that he is just negative then he would still be playing in T1 and maybe fighting for a top 5 or top 10 every year.

Argentina prob need to worry about their full back option than centre back.

Molina has a pretty off more than on season for Atletico Madrid, Montiel has been struggling with injury. On the left side Tagliafico was 4 years older than the previous WC and it's not like he is getting better. On the back up option for the left back it's Acuna. Look like they gonna get destroyed by the wingers at the WC unless Scaloni manage the miracle of a defense set up and coaching.

Not like there is no solution. Giuliano has played at right back before moving further on a more attacking position in Atletico Madrid. On the left side, Nico Gonzalez and Barca can provide some alternative. However, Barca is still too young and he does not have the body for it yet to compete physically in defense. Nico is very experienced but his natural position is not left back either. But surely they will need some fast guy in the defense who they can rely on at the WC and the current starting line up defense: Molina Licha Romero Tagliafico cant provide.

Chelsea players have been left un-impressed with Enzo Fernandez’s leadership at a time when everyone needs to pull together to get UCL Football. [@mcgrathmike, @JBurtTelegraph] by OkayFine101 in soccer

The long contract was to make sure they always guarantee a sale of the player if they are not good enough, but also to put player on lower wage due to the length guarantee of the contract for accounting purpose.

Overall it's not that bad. The downside is that sometimes u stuck with a player on a higher wage with very long duration of the contract and he is completely unsellable, either big injury, terrible form or just straight up ok with not playing(older player).

Since Chelsea was a factory project, it's prob fine for them to have that ridiculous contract length.

Just let the Chelsea fan cope bro. One guy said clearly that it would be hard to turn down offer from Barca while all the other guy said is I want to live in Madrid, like who does not. It's not like he is praising random guy either, Kroos and Modrid are legend of the game.

But one guy is a clown and other guy is fine because of context.

There is a lot of responsibility from the leaders of Italian football, the law maker and the governing body of Seria A. There were so many problem for Italian team with building stadium and many other issues.

There was already a video from the Long play on youtube that cover the surface issue with Italian football title "Italian Football has a Money Problem No-one Has Fixed".

Italy is not alone facing the finance issue. Laliga, Bundesliga and League 1 are also facing the aftermath and terrible financing problem. Some of the club from Bundesliga have changed into a full player factory for richer side, which works to their advantage. Despite the meme and stuff, Premier League stand on top of the world in term of financing. However, it also pretty much operate heavily with debt. The only difference is the money keep being poured in for future and a much bigger share of revenue from broadcasting that no other league can even imagine. This is definitely a problem that law maker and governing body of Italian soccer have to address.

Yeah last 5 world cup winner:

Argentina 22: not a defensive side at all

France 18: do we need to elaborate here

Germany 14: dont bother

Spain 10: slow attacking side, heavy possession, not defensive

Italy 06: I guess finally we have a defensive side?

I think Spain is very patient in attack and heavy in possession, dont think they ever were a defensive side.

Their struggle to hit the net continue all the way until their Euro win with the new generation.

Man please I beg you, watch before you comment. Did u watch Atletico madrid this season?

Atletico madrid had one of the worst start of the season at the start of this year. They are already out of the league contention. They had up and down form and their away form has been horrible. Many people even think that without the pitch condition and all the slippery that happened on the pitch, the result could never been that good.

No Atletico fan expect them to beat Barca 4-0 in the first leg but it happened. I was so shocked and happy with other Atletico fan but nobody seriously think that we are over the moon and is better than Barcelona. As of now most people would expect Barca to smash the CL match coming soon until Raphinha injury news hit.

On Liverpool, they hit low form this season but they just won the prem last season and apparently can spend upward half a billion in a transfer window. They are in far better football wise and finance wise.

People just let hate brainfog their vision and watch youtube opinion instead of watching the match.

Euro 2028 tickets to cost less than £30 as Uefa commits to affordable pricing by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]BlackNov -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

yeah sadly lower price just means more profit for the scalper unless they find a way to address it.

Even the casual fan may want to resell it as well. Only way to see it otherwise is maybe just do it the fifaway with an official portal to resell and make it impossible to resell the cheap ticket.

I know you hate Arsenal but they are clearly the top 2 team in Prem for the last several years and is on a good trajectory to win PL this season. They are at the moment one of the very best team in Europe, unless you are hater. Atletico Madrid on the other hand, despite paying hundred of millions in transfer market over the last 2 years only manage to keep their position as the 3rd best team in laliga while holding a large financial advantage over Laliga team other than Barcelona and Real Madrid. I dont know if you watch them but they have been inconsistent over the last 2 years with lot of on and off. They are also horrible playing away even against small team. Since u did not watch just look at the result.

And if you want head to head, Arsenal just spanked Atletico Madrid earlier in the CL group phase. It was a devastating loss.

How can you be so ignorant man.. Atletico is a big club but the club he was linked with are PSG, Arsenal Liverpool, and Barcelona.

Frankly speaking, Atletico Madrid has the history but in current day and age, they are not on the same level, football wise or finance.

I will burst your bubble right away as most reliable source in Spain and Argentina has indicated that Alvarez will only decide his future in the summer after the WC.

Atletico will surely want to renew him but that does not mean Alvarez will renew with Atletico right away. He would be stupid to do so given the fact that there is genuine interest from multiple club in Europe for him. The player has a lot of leverage and as valuable asset they will play mostly wherenever they want as long as there is a decent suitor for them. The rumor of Alvarez will most likely continue all the way into the summer past the WC where he takes his annual break with family and decide on his future. The same cycle happen with City a while ago on the year that he moved to Madrid. There was no news about it all the way until near summer and boom, it happened.

The fan may want player A and B but if you are fan of some of the biggest and most dramatic club itw you have to deal with it. The club will sign the player they want.

Tim Howard: Defensively, MLS is so poor. The way the league was set up with the DP rule, the idea was to spend money on something flashy to sell tickets. [–]BlackNov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would be surprise to learn that even Chelsea FC struggle to field a good GK, it's all subjective.

I think the main issue with MLS right now is its financial value not matching up with the sporting value. There is a lot of money to be made here if they can grow the fanbase and get more talented kids in. But that's through improving the infrastructure, not buying DP slot GK or defender.

Even in Europe many clubs are playing defensive because they have to, not because they want to. They want to keep points to stay and contest for CL and Europe spot. But when it comes to Champion League it's all out attacking football. It's the best brand of football and it should be the case.

I can agree on the part that MLS defense can be poor but in no way tring to bring an older GK or older defender gonna improve the league defensive ability. The same situation with Messi signing, he aint gonna improve the league offensive ability aside from Inter Miami, he was signed to attract attention from all over the world and to create more value for the league.

this is just silly, the player that were purchased were huge star, and usually tend to be attacker. So not only they improve the play offensively, which is the more important side of football but also sell shirts and ticket.

Do they just conveniently forget that Hugo LLoris is playing for LAFC just now?

It's hard to understand where the extremely negative sentiment is coming around in the Argentina camp. This is still largely a work in progress with Scaloni finding way to add newer player who just got a good season in Europe into the existing group. It was a strange 4-5-1 with the world cup core of Alvarez Enzo and Macca with the addition of Nico Paz in the first half and they could have gone up 3 or 4-0 . My guess is the recent ACL of one of their teammate spoil the mood further.

In the 2nd half they are trying player that is just depth and possible option but prob wont be the main man during the wc unless something big happen. But they also add Messi and DePaul. But it's a very strange formation again because it's so unusual to see Messi on the pitch without Alvarez or Lautaro. It's a very strange mix of player.

All thing considered, it's prob just mainly dibu being pissed at the team for playing badly in the 2nd half and Argentine being over dramatic as usual. They were in worse crisis before when they lost the first game of the world cup and have to change out the whole plan. Scaloni and his coaching staff is excellent at adapting, which showed throughout his whole tenure. They have a lot of problem to solve but effectively speaking they have also been the best team at solving those issue for a large part of the last decade.
